I can do it now as well, so ner ner nerner ner.
Level 9 now. Killing it in the Free For All and Death Match variants of multiplayer. Think it's a nice twist that you can take your own weapons in to those games. I was expecting to be overpowered by the Level 20+ guys but i went 20 and 5 in my first game and 16 and 4 in my second. Really enjoying it!

Fair enough the story isn't as fleshed out as you expected, but @Warlock1 and others have been saying from the outset of this thread that they expected it to be barebones so they set their expectations well and maybe you didn't? Don't like it? Trade it in... it's a good game but not for everybody.
Just feels like some people dislike it because its not what they thought it would be, which is fair enough. Doesn't make it a bad game though.

That was some good gaming last night, that bloody level where the waves of enemies kept coming was intense, the struggle was real. the relief when we finally did it

I like how third time round we all figured out our own tactics and eventually wore them down.
So after getting a new weapon that finally does damage, I am actually doing well in the crucible now.
I really like this game. Great fun!.

haha yeah, my moment of clarity came when I (finally) realised that it might be a better idea to move about the room rather than just camp up at the top and get swarmed all the time

Dinklagebot was getting on my tits too, "let me take my time shooting lasers at this path which is blocked by lasers, will only take about 25 minutes, oh btw 12 waves of convenant incoming lol".
Stuck on a mission on Venus, the archive one. Get into the archive and then routinely get battered, definitely going to need some help on that one.
Tip for those big Bug type bosses: if you shoot off the rectangular rocket launcher gun mounted on it first it makes it a whole lot easier, takes a fair bit of damage to get it off but worth it.
If you look at the app, there are 5... and there seems to be room for 11. The way it's laid out I'm inclined to believe there will be 11.
Completed the story last night and lets just say it doesn't get any better.

Can't get anywhere near Phogoth. Tried about 4 times with all 3 of us being level 12, not even touching the sides.
Metacritic average has this hovering around 81, user average 6.4.

Its a victim of its own hype, but if you try and see beyond that its a pretty fun game with loads of potential.

It's a solid 9 game for me. The levels of hype for this game were way too high and I think that's why it is getting low scores. Anyone that played the beta realised that it wasn't revolutionary in any way but it was still really fun. I know everyone has a different opinion or different tastes but some of the scores I have seen are pure bullshit.

I think most of us on here are having loads of fun and for me the multiplayer surprised me. It's pretty great (when I'm not having internet issues lol).
If anybody wouldn't mind helping with the Phogoth creature or the Archive mission, I'll be on tomorrow morning until early afternoon.

The low scores on Metacritic are mostly from PC gamers who are annoyed it's console only.
To be fair, I'm a little annoyed it's console only too. FPS games are just better on PC and seeing as this is online it's not like they would have major issues with piracy.

I'll be up for some venus missions in about an hour if anyone wants to? Also a tip for people who are struggling to level up, make sure you always take on bounties as they give you so much experience points... i literally got from level 15 - 19 yesterday in about 3 hours from them yesterday

but I thought at least a little Armor!Is this worth getting if you have 0 mates who have it? Sounds like it's largely centered around clans and all that. Also looks like the type of game that I'd be shockingly bad at.
