I've also been working on upgrading Truth. As rocket launchers go it's way down on the list but hey, it's got tracking if needed. Got the tracking perk unlocked.

I don't mind either way. Can give Crota a few shots with the top centre trick and if we don't have much luck can start anew
 
Even though they were an awful group, there was one good thing to take from it. Just run straight past the first two lamps then after that wait at each lamp for a couple of secs before moving. A few times now with this group I've been caught by a cursed thrall between the first and second lamp after we waited a few seconds.
 
I will be up for jumping in later as well guys, just message me when you are ready as I will probably be leveling up my raid weapons :drool:

They were a nice group. Just as a hunter for some reason I get way susceptible to attacks even with my bladedancer being on same skills as you. Just felt like I let you all down, and especially that last bit when I think I finally cracked it - me being better in middle than on one of the sides... good luck for the rest.

When I'm on again in a few hours time I'll work on finishing leveling up the pulse rifle as I think that'll help

@Ducklegs too, cool. Just say ahead of time whether we're going to try and finish off Crota with the upper middle strategy or start a fresh one again. I think it'd be worth doing the former as long as we don't waste a lot of time if it doesn't work out, then if it doesn't work out, can start a fresh one and get through the first few sections fairly quickly based on yesterday

I don't want the pulse rifle, they're shit. I do want the scout rifle though, they're great.

@Dargonk that wasn't a good group, that part is not that hard, you just need three people, two on that side and one on the side you start from, a warlock is very handy.

group was ok. Far better than the one me and Damien first started with. Though it shouldn't have been that hard. Didn't help that we didn't fully understand the totem thing on the other side.

So if you try and get everyone who isn't a warlock across. Then just have one person hide in that front spot and the other two hide where ever it shouldn't go off. Warlocks can just kill themselves and then self res and snipe the orges from their side while the others just stay alive???

We got one titan a hunter across last night, they stayed alive and I self res on the other side and helped snipe. We even had a 31 in our group, I don't get what those guys were doing tbh.

Was thinking about that... maybe we should have spread our warlocks out a bit. Could potentially end up having a team with no warlocks in it :lol:

:lol: Yeah. When I was having an unsuccessful go with Dargon, most of the people were Hunters which ain't good when two of us kept dying (me being one of them obviously)
 
So are we going from crota or starting a fresh?

Method in text if we do decide to do Crota. Do we have any Titans?

Requires at least one Titan Three hits per Crota down

  1. Take care of enemies in first room
  2. Stand top middle, which is the outside ledge of the window you spawn at
  3. All take out sword bearer
  4. A Titan pops bubble on the right boomer tower
  5. Sword bearer gets three damage phases
  6. Rotate back into the room you spawn while Crota is on right
  7. When Crota returns centre, back outside to the window ledge and repeat above method

Right, as we're not getting anywhere... final decision: Crota for a bit then if doesn't work, start anew.

Join my fireteam when ready and I'll make one of you leader.
 
@afrocentricity, going to switch to PS4 now so I can do things properly and hear everything fine. If you could set up a party to see if Adam and Ducklegs want to do the Crota bit that'd be great, then depending on what fireteam looks like and if we're doing the above strategy we might need a Titan or two.
 
Shame I didn't have enough XP to unlock that hive major damage boost :(

Sorry guys I was just trying to do the pit to try and get two shards before I went to bed.

I still have a HM crota and death singer checkpoint if you get all the bits you need from the first parts.
 
You can do the left side if you have two titans, using the "blue tits" strategy lol.

Which is- two titans pop two bubbles on the left boomer tower, you all kill the sword bearer and the bubbles last just long enough for two crota downs before you all hid and regen your supers etc.
 
Ok... so whos in? @Ducklegs? Edit: Just read your post... we'll get it done another night. Doesn't seem like many are about, and it's getting late...
