I remember once on my Titan I jumped towards the back and used my super, but turned out I used my super too early and ended up plummeting to my death... but that's the sort of thing you'd expect from me :p
 
Nah, I just bailed... gonna have a shot at Crota. Think that group could have taken all night...

Issue now is you can't tell how much players have actually done that raid on hard. Most of the experienced players who were 30 pre-DLC have moved on to crota and now only do VOG everynow and then. Where you have a whole lot of people that have hardly done it or just been carried in the past who have got to 31 due to the vanguard or helped through crota now doing it.

I've had groups where we have done every step first time and I think our only deaths was a wipe after conflux to get back up top and gorgon/jumping puzzle as they were the old 30s, yet other groups we have been stuck on every boss for ages as they manage to die or confuse themselves and waste time.

True. Think I might give VoG a shot in about 7 hours time. Been a while since I've done it and still got faint hopes of getting Fatebringer/very slight chance of Gjallarhorn from the possibility of a random exotic for beating Atheon.

If I'm about, I may join you for that if I have the time. VoG I think is the only thing I haven't done this week. So would just be doing bounties anyway.
 
Seems they have announced when the hard raid if going to go live. 21st Jan.

Confirmed as level 33, which will likely make Crota a right pain in the arse.

That's great, can't wait to see what's changed. Will Crota and the bosses be level 34 or 33 then?. IF it's 33 it shouldn't be too hard as many people did normal as a 31 anyway.

No idea, at a guess he will likely be the 34 version. As normal is level 30. If that is the case, you will need to be basically perfect to take him down

Does anyone want a hand with a nightfall at all? Got the exotic bounty that wants me to get 200 kills in it.
 
Bought the Hunter helmet, now have eight Strange Coins left and Ice Breaker costs 17. If anybody is up for Weekly Heroic on hardest difficulty in about 90 minutes, let me know.

If there's coins enough to get me the IB, I'm up for it in about an hour if you can wait that long. I'm level 29 with unspectacular gear so you'd have to carry me a bit, though.

Hardly spent any strange coins in the last few weeks, so this week; Titan... Have a Ice Breaker. Hunter... Have a Ice Breaker. Ice Breakers all round! :devil:
