I'm assuming you know that it only drops non-upgraded exotics? Still some merit, obviously, even if it's just exotic shards.

My final purple bit will come soon as well - almost got enough vanguard marks. Hopefully my level will jump from 25 to 27 tonight - it will definitely be 26

I took a chance on the helmet engram again, and got Knucklehead Radar. Lower Strength stat than the version for sale, but honestly I couldn't care less about strength, as I rarely use/notice the melee specials. Bought P&T with strange coins and dismantled my normal version. Upgraded my hunter Alpha Lupi as well as MIDA and Plan C. Only other available upgrades that I could do are Truth and the titan Alpha Lupi. The former I almost certainly won't bother with, as Truth is really a waste of an exotic slot (though its a shame there is no way for me to upgrade my Admonisher III). The titan Alpha Lupi I might upgrade if I can find time to grind for glimmer.
Talking of which, if anyone isn't using the Exclusion Zone mission for glimmer grinding, they really should be. It is, by far, the best method I've used. Takes me no more than 20 minutes to get 10k+.
Oh, and, now that we've had a week and a half with it, what are everyone's thoughts on the DLC? Worth the money?

Cannot honestly say yes, potentially £20? Should have been a tenner... or better yet, free when you think about how lacking in content and unpolished this game was at launch.

You start the first mission on mars, use the item in the inventory and then kill the enemies until 1 is left. Let them kill you/kill yourself and the mission restarts at the checkpoint with the door opening. If you end up killing all the enemies though the mission then has to be completed / restarted at a harder level to get back to that point.
Start up the Exclusion Zone mission. Right near the start (immediately after you 'initiate the failsafe') use a Resupply Code. There will be two dropships of Cabal. The first is just a load of normal Legionaries and two Phalanxes. Kill them. Then the second dropship drops a normal Centurion and two normal Phalanxes, followed by a load (10, I think?) major/yellow legionaries. Kill all the major/yellow guys and leave the three normal guys. Once all the yellows are down, let the other three kill you. It doesn't matter too much if there is only one or two left, I just try and leave three so they can kill me quicker, but you have to leave at least one, otherwise you'll get the next checkpoint. Once you die, you'll respawn and you can go through it all again. For each resupply code, you should be able to do it at least 5 times (once you get into the swing of things anyway). The invite was just to do dailies I think. And yeah, I agree. I like the missions (though the PS exclusive strike is a bit tiresome), but there is nowhere near enough to justify £20, particularly when so much of it is actually just going back through the same areas that were already there. The new gear is cool, but it all seems really badly planned. I really hope they do a better job when House of Wolves comes out, because it will be ridiculous if we have to go through the exotic upgrade nonsense again.

Gimme a shout when you're on and I'll help. I've already done them on all three characters, but I need Glimmer and have weapons I need to level.
I'd say it's definitely worth getting. As Afro said, though, it does leave a slightly bitter taste, knowing that most of it should've been in from the start.
Just seeing if folks wanted help with the daily. I had died 15 times in that last room. Thrall, Knights & Lightswitch in a small room isn't what you want. I was so glad to see you jump in. Cheers.
