There was no room. Four randoms, Ducklegs joined, asked me to join and PO took my spot!
When we attempted it the other day we found it difficult, got to second part and stopped there as we didn't get what to do. Now I think we all know, just a matter of finding time for us all to be on to continue.
Have you found that first chest in the new raid yet?
I always get someone who sings during the raid, it seems to be normal. I always end up in decent groups, but I reckon VoG will get annoying now, people can get to level 30 easily, so they'll be running the raid.
BTW, I didn't know I took your spot, I would've left had I known, sorry. Before I joined I saw you and Duck doing the raid, that's why I joined.
Yeah, I found it during one of the times you were all going ahead on the first bit and I decided to hang back and have a nosy around. Easy to get to.

No worries, with your tale about what happened I'm glad I missed out (though still not happy about not getting the stupid Mythoclast yet... It's almost like the game knows you want that gun badly so it won't drop, it's the same for me and Hawkmoon. I wouldn't mind Red Death either.
Yeah, where you ideally need a hunter to run all the way down the hallway while the rest kill the shriekers and other adds. Hunter we designated decided to stop halfway.
The 'leader' of the raid was absolutely fantastic though. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. We couldn't kill Crota in the end but from the experience I had it seems straightforward enough as long as people don't die during that part.
I'm 31 now guys, and somehow going against my usual luck have got 3 pieces of raid gear in 2 runs!. Need lots of shards though before 32.

I got invited to a normal mode VoG raid last night by this Dutch guy on my friends list. Honestly, I've never been in such an incompetent group! I think two of them had a rough idea what they were doing, but the other three were useless. We had to cheese the Templar for Christ's sake! And then when it got to atheon, one guy kept getting teleported and not shooting the oracles and the guys outside kept getting killed by supplicants.
I will raid, I have the gear to be 31, but I won't have the xp on it so I'll have to do it as a 30.
I still have 2 sodding nightfalls to do this week, but I really don't know if if I can be bothered.
There is a really easy bridge cheese using the warlock's self resurrection by the way guys (just search YouTube for Crota's End bridge cheese). Looks quick and painless, but also easy to patch, so it won't last long!
Just grinding out some more exp for weapons and such at the moment. But I'd be up to do the crota raid later on today if any of you wanted to do it as well.
Also wouldn't mind just doing atheon fight on hard to try and get the vex. So if anyone is doing that give me a shout

Just completed the bounty for super good advice and it gave me the upgraded version. Pleasant surprise that! Also upgraded my Last WordWord, hoping to get enough glimmer to do Red Death and Armamentarium as well. The former in particular could be very useful for the Crota boss fight.
Not too far off level 31 with my titan as well, which should really help with the Crota raid. I think I'm free this evening if you guys want to give it a go?

I would like to give the raid a go now, I don't have nothing until 5.
I am on, only i am 3 nodes away from 31, so i dont know if i should quickly grind these out for this evening.

That's not top bad. The captains and knights kind of teleport anyway. What's the best way to level up, just do the strikes and patrols on earth and the moon?
