I'm trying to do the mission where you destroy the amplifiers at the forgotten shore but there's a blade of Crota there which is resistant to everything I've got... What do?

It was level 6, I was level 3. There were some other people milling around so maybe it waned because of them. Anyway it was fighting a Captain which killed it in the end.

That'll be why you didn't do enough damage, you were way underleveled. Ideally you need to be the same level/one level below. Will still take while to kill but will be doable

Good luck. I think you'll be okay though, just take your time. Remember that second mission with those thrall things coming at you? There's loads of them on the moon.You need to be level 30 so you'll be okay for a while.
Done the first moon mission raiding the temple. I ran out of primary ammo and was panicking because I didn't know how to switch to my heavy weapon... Just running around punching things, dancing and waving while I tried combinations of buttons while being shot at my the head flaming hive thingy

Have you worked out how to now? Just hold triangleI am trying the nightfall (again) if anyone wants to raid what ever type of raid tonight just invite and i shall join.

I had needed about four more too, but luckily due to my laziness I hadn't done the nightfall Eris bounty so did that, got three motes, then got another through leveling cryptarch up I think.

Ruin wings must be the best looking exotic in the game. I would've loved any exotic titan helmet this week though. The engram have me that new bug looking hunter one. Got 2 titans and a warlock though...
Great. If you've got 33 light gauntlets I wouldn't bother with the urn quest as that's the reward.

What is everyone's preferred weapon? Just out of interest. I've just switched to a semi automatic and found I run out of ammo so quickly on it... Taking down wizards just eats it all up because you can't burst them down quickly before they recharge.
Is it worth sticking with a fully automatic with worse attack stats to avoid that?

For wizards, a solar fusion rifle will be best when you finally get one. In meantime stick with full auto.
Well I've got a heavy machine gun which is perfect for them but ammo is so rare for them. At the moment I've got the semi auto primary, some energy blasty chargy thing as a secondary and the machine gun with about 20 rounds each time. Been hard going! Might just take the step down to fully auto again.

Glad I saved some +5000 bounties up. Upgraded my Titan Exotic Chest and Ice Breaker whilst also buying two legendary armour pieces.
