Why would anyone choose the xbone over ps4 now that kinect is as dead as disco?
If they have friends already on it. Maybe they prefer the controller. Maybe they want the TV stuff.
Let's not get into a debate about why you'd choose one or the other here! I'm sure everyone has valid reasons.

Is it worth going Hunter if you're not fond of sniping? I like the mobility and special abilities but can't snipe for shit.
Do you need a code to download the vangaurd armoury? There was nothing in my case
Apart from picking up a sniper at the start as your 2nd weapon I don't think it's any better or worse at sniping.
The differences in classes seem to be mostly aesthetic to me or just slightly different functions on something. Like my Warlocks grenade sticks around for a while to do damage to anyone in the area, and my melee is a blast of power rather than knifing.
I'm not sure there are any differences when it comes to using weapons though?
Level 5/6 I think, it's good yeah, long time since I've played an FPS on a console, it's certainly far better with a DS4 than it was with a DS3.
No remote play yet, but I'll get round to it eventually.

Ah yeah. I didn't think about that.. the sticks on Vita will be horrendous for Destiny. Still, it'll be awesome for some of the PS+ games I bet and things like Fifa and Drive Club.

It's the first time I have used Amazon to buy a game. Usually use Shopto. Mine came around 10:30 today.... but no code for the Vanguard armoury. You still might get it today. If you do let me know if you get a code with you're game.
Actually I've heard mostly good things. I'd prefer the Vita controller for it than the DS3!
Killzone on the Vita was awesome but I just couldn't use the sticks to shoot. The same on Resistance and COD. And since those games were made with the Vita in mind and tried to accomodate for the sticks I thought it'd be much worse trying to play a PS3/PS4 game on it? I'll try remote playing my step dads COD later.

Not sure, it's guaranteed we get it today, even if it's at 9pm I guess. Same happened to me when I ordered my PS4 through amazon, got it around 7pm.

Anyone else using the Jumper control setup then? I'm constantly jumping whilst hip firing at their heads, helps so much in tight situations.

Went to game and asked for a vanguard copy. Ended up leaving with a 'preowned' (sealed?) standard copy for £35. Value always wins.

The first group place at level 8, Devil's Lair, feck me, that took ages. It was just a case of the three of us taking turns reviving each other for half the bloody thing!
The PvP is shite IMO. Too much jumping around, ridiculous vehicles and guns. Meh. The co op is superb though.
