Just done the tutorial and will play the game tomorow. Will need to complete Earth before being capable of really getting any sort of impressions though as I've already completed Earth 3 times. Gonna be a rate chore.
Anyone else playing on Jumper control scheme? Means you use left-bumper to jump instead of A so that you can continue to look around/shoot whilst you jump.

5.4 user score on metacritic. Anyone who pays attention to user scores is an idiot
There's a lot of people complaining, one guy is 7 hours in and on the last planet apparently. It always happens with big games though, those who don't have it and are jealous go to sites like meta critic and score it a 50 because they are butt hurt.

Dang... Well, I only paid 35 quid so hopefully I get my money's worth. Liked the alpha/beta so more of the same with some variety later on will do for me.
Usually more accurate than the critics on Metacritic. The likes of COD, Battlefied, FIFA, Mass Effect, Sims etc. have all rightfully been called out by poor user scores.

Its used as a protest or because they are fan boys which is simply ridiculous. There is no way any of the CODS, FIFAS etc deserve scores lower than 2 or 3. If people are sick of them its very simple. Dont purchase the games

Only a few get such low scores; most of them are above 6. Off the top of my head - GTA5, Battlefield 4, Titanfall, FIFA 14, Sims 4 all have more accurate user scores compared to their critic scores.
Just a quick comparison can tell you all you need to know in today's age of paid reviews. If there is a contrast, chances are the game doesn't hold up too well and isn't as good as all the reviews out there are suggesting.

i'm watching a stream on twitch , it looks great . the guy playing is lvl6 and just facechecks everything and if he dies he is revived by his wingman . seems a bit to easy. also playing a fps on controller is wrong

All first person shooters should be played on hard/ultra harder first time round, they tend to be very easy, making them short and boring.

Metacritic user ratings used to be a reliable score indicator but the site is plagued by trolls now and can't be taken seriously. Amazon is pretty good still for user reviews.

Do you have to install the game before playing? If so, how long does it take. I hate it when you have to wait an ages for the install to complete I.e GTA
Just did the mission where there are four waves of enemies, can't remember what it's called though. There are two wizards, loads of thralls, about three knights and some others.

What multiplayer is available? Is it openworld campaign style multiplayer or is there an option for deathmatch/lobby style multiplayer? I'm hoping for both, haven't had chance to look it up yet.

Alright Twigg. It's piss easy to make an account though tbf, and it runs in the background whilst you use your headset. Basically the same as party chat for you, just I have to use my laptop.
