Good thing is we can loot the oracle and templar section no problem at our lesuire across the rest of the week.

Its bullshit with the shards being given out as rewards as well.

You mean the chest? I done it three times now and I don't really enjoy playing with my titan tbh.

No the first part killing the oracles and templar.
i only want the pistol and some boots for my hunter now and i shall have everything from it i want.

Rather annoying. Do you think it is possible to uses my level 24 warlock and still get rep at a decent rate to buy the armour. As not a whole lot of uses doing it on my hunter as that is 30 already, unless some of the weapons you can buy are good.
 
Also, is there any chance some of you guys will take my 24 warlock through the normal raid at some point this week. Would really love to pick up some of that armour. It shouldn't be to hard to carry him through the oracle and templar bit and into the maze at least depending on what characters everyone else has.
 
Ffs, got the last word in the raid, 2 days after I bought it for 23 strange coins. Also got found verdict after I got it yesterday :lol:

I think the reputation is largely, possibly solely, based on wins, and even when you lose you get a 'medallion' which trades in for rep the next time you win. I'd give it a go, hopefully there is a decent level matching system so you'd get put in games with similar level players.

Thanks, though just been reading that it will take me something like 55 wins to even get to level 3 or 4 (can't remember exactly). Don't think I have the patience to do that in a week.

Are you getting good gear as rewards for simply playing in the matches. Or is it much the same as regular crucible drops. Otherwise I might just give it a miss all together and keep trying to get gear via the regular routes.
 
Anyone free tonight to help a level 23 play the raids or whatever the high level stuff is? I only really play pvp nowadays as I find that I'm getting armour quicker that way (still all blue armour - hoping I can afford a rare one when my crucible rep goes up soon)

I know what you mean @Dargonk... the new IB rep system seems like hard work. I don't have the time for it... if the rank stayed then at least you could casually work towards it over several IB's. Getting the win is still based on the team you get put in so it's kinda out of your hands. Yesterday I kept getting put against a premade (who were winning nearly every game).
 
Also could anyone help me get my 24 through the nightfall? I'm happy to play with my 30 right up to the boss and then switch over and act as a spawn point.

Raid would be really helpful as well. Even if it was just getting me the gorgan maze checkpoint.

Yeh I looked at the numbers and would have to be playing at the very least 4 hours a day on my warlock to get the light 30 gear. Not going to happen, so might as well ignore the whole thing entirely really.

You'd need to be at least 25 to do the nightfall.

I lost twice and won twice. The first time I lost I didn't get a medal, the second time I lost I did. Then when I won the first time I got the reputation from the one medal and the win, then the second time I won I didn't get any reputation at all, so half the time I'm not getting any rep.

Actually you may be right. Is an option but has requires better gear at the top.

So I wouldn't even be able to join someone else doing it then?
 
That is still a stupid amount of games though, at least more than I'm willing to try on an under powered warlock.

Fair enough. I'm playing with a level 27 titan, and its actually easier than it was yesterday with my level 30 hunter!
 
Anyone who hasn't done the nightfall want to do it this evening? Heroic weekly too while I'm at it.

I would go on reddit or solo it but I'd rather breeze through it quickly so I can focus on IB.

I'll be on tonight from about 8pm if you want to do Nightfall & Heroic
 
And from what I've seen of Light/Beware (my version at least) its actually quite well balanced, much quicker charge, but considerably shorter range. Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from something in between shotguns and the 77 Wizard.
