Tell me about it. I managed to do it my first time and ever since I keep failing, so now every single time we get there I go to orbit until the throne is activated.

My problem was I forgot I didn't have triple jump activated (im PVPing 90% of the time so I keep it off), once that had been rectified it was a breeze.

So just remind me guys, if you do 2 lots of normal raids in 1 week, do you still get rewards for the templar and atheon?. But you can't reuse the chests I know that.
You can do 1 normal mode and 1 hard mode
If you do the hard mode first, you get your normal loot at the same time
There is 1 chest that will be in both normal and hard

The problem is glitches.
If you do the first phases perfectly with nobody dying you get the infinite detain glitch on Templar where someone never gets out of detain state. Its just there until they die.
Even if Templar dies, I believe it persists.
Then there are common glitches on Atheon - one or no people being teleported, people being teleported while detained, etc

If I wasn't level 30 then I would've died. I felt bad about join you when you already done all the work.
So if I make it to 30 on my warlock tomorrow, is there space for me on the Friday evening caf raid? I don't mind too much of not, as it'll be easy enough to find a pug as a level 30.
Might be, dunno who'll be available though. HM raid tomorrow will be starting from Gatekeeper then possibly starting a fresh one after that depending on how we do - so if you've not done the HM raid then you can get the rest of the loot on your warlock from starting the new one.
I need to do the whole thing at some point, but I'm happy to get involved with you guys wherever and whenever I'm needed.
That's what I'm saying, if there's space you can do the end bit with us and get the loot from that then start a fresh one with us and get the HM loot you missed from doing the end bit, so you'll be doing the whole thing - just not in the right order.

That has put me like 150 Vanguard rep away from being able to buy armour though which is nice. If Xur hasn't got legs tomorrow i can grind that last little bit and buy some legs from the Vanguard guy with more light on them

Excellent. Either way Xur WILL have Hunter armour, just might be head or chest, which you've already got legendary armour for but I'd still recommend getting it as the light from exotic can be max 30 compared to 27 for legendary armour. By the way Xur won't have leg armour as there's no exotic legs yet!
In an ideal world, Xur will have gauntlets and you can then buy your leg armour from the Vanguard to give you a full set of legendary + exotic which can take you to 29 when maxed out
Ah fair enough, i'll be happy with whatever then. Obviously best case would be gloves but i'll take whatever he's got

2nd time raiding tonight and got stuck on gatekeepers.
I was going into portals (cause no one else was) and was thoroughly useless.
Anyone who does that usually have any particular advice?
Should i ignore adds and just burn down gatekeeper or what?
Well first of all you need 2 people at least going in, but yeah first you go all put on the gatekeeper, grab the relic then just get out.
