Unless it massively improves it I'm wondering if this is what he is actually on about. It probably is but I was expecting better range from what he told me. It was after a few drinks though so I should expect some exaggerations ha

Yup, wtf is up with that? I know most of those purples we used to get ended up as blues... but not all. Now it's straight blue all day er'yday...
You'll manage i'm sure. All you need is one good game to get it done. Assists count as a kill too.
My advice would be to take advantage of levels with vehicles and turrets. Just drop out of a map if its not one.
Grab the bike thing at the start of the level (if someone else gets it there's a second parked to one side, near the 'b' point in control).
I don't care how bad you are you'll have a hard time coming away from a bike without a positive K/D ratio.
Sit on turrets in between bike spawns and grab the interceptor when it shows up (think its the same time as heavy ammo).
And don't get too discouraged on the first few games, knowing the layout, where stuff spawns and just a bit of practice goes a long, long way.
Worst case scenario group up with a few people. You'll get it done though

Most tempting suggestion so far but would that even work? Aren't all modes 6v6 so if on fireteam with me you'd be on same team as me and I couldn't kill you?
If that works that's a fantastic way to cream the bounties as well.

Rumble match is only 6 and everyman for himself, so using a 6 man fireteam *should* work
Invite me after 8 and I'll help with this, we should all cherry pick some crucible bounties before we go in as well if it works

I am level 28 now with my primary maxed out, so my TTK should improve a lot.
We just lacked a bit of firepower the last couple of times, hitting harder all round will make things a lot easier.
