Gaming Destiny 2 • RedCafe Clan in OP

Story wise definitely way more in it then Destiny 1! Also like that everything is kind of open world on the planet, as in you start in something like what patrol would be and then just go to the mission location instead of picking it all from a map.

I have it it's currently sat on my dining room table.

Problem is I am on holiday and not back till Tuesday afternoon.
I'm on the fence but I'm leaning towards picking this up on the weekend

feck it jump in, even if we get a couple of raid attempts out of it it's worth it no?
Its more the fcuking backlog I have, and once you start playing Destiny thats pretty much all you play.

I'm like that with Elite Dangerous and Warframe.

Thargoids are invading in 2.4 so it's all hands on deck in Elite, and if you miss a limited mod or weapon in Warframe you miss it forever sometimes.
Plus the feckers kick you out of your clan if you are inactive for more than 10 days.

Work is a massive inconvenience to my intergalactic warmongering.

is destiny 2 an mmorpg shooter? hows the leveling work if there is any?

What's the deal with infusing exotics? Are you only able to do it once a day? I upgraded my armour and now it won't let me do it for my weapon.
You may not have the right materials. I wont be infusing anything right now. Xur comes on friday and and he takes the same currency used to infuse.

Had a quick blast last night and got up to level 9/170ish light.

Love all the little changes they've made. They've kept everything good about D1 but while not a huge change it feels a nice step forward.

Can't wait to see what's happening going forward

Tempted to get this but i lost so many hours playing Destiny 1. Climbing up that stupid mountain in Rise of iron! Jesus.

Finished the main story line, and must admit I enjoyed it. The few missions where you have the vehicles are great fun. I would say that the main missions over all are still on the short side. Time will tell if there is enough other bits and pieces still to do other than start grinding.

Already?? How long did that take?

Can someone explain what the end goal is with Destiny? Is it just for 'gear' like in Division?

Not sure I get it.

Yeah. In the end its about getting better gear to able to do harder activities and then getting more gear to make those harder activities easy.

Yeah, it's a bit of a slower burner as more and more will get released in the next few weeks. It all gears toward the "raids" which require you to be as strong as possible and have good team work to complete them.

Thanks both.

Don't think I'll bother then. Watching Giant Bomb's Quick Look and, I dunno, it just looks extremely dull?

Hi, please answer the following

1. Is it less shit than the first game?
2. Do I need PS+?
3. Is Darmian/Dano/Damian playing?
4. If yes to 3, is he still a lil whiney bitch?
5. What do you hate most about Dano?

I have only done the tutorial and the first post Farm mission but I wouldn't call it dull. It's pretty hectic actually.

Thanks both.

Dont know how to respond to that. Wouldnt say its dull specially at this point in the game when everything is new content. Loot grind is not everyone's cup of tea though so you may find it dull.

1. Maybe
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Silently
5. Soccer Manager Jinxes

I've done it on one character as well but I didn't do that many of the side quests/adventures. I think for those who've played D1, they'll blast through the missions no problem.
do you think you'll ever have a real life damo?

I mean, the enemies still look a bit dull as do the environments. I played a little of Destiny 1 and got fed up after a few hours. I remember having to revisit the same map again and again.

I'm probably an anti-loot game kind of guy though. I finished the Division story and was like "What now?" But friends of mine kept playing on for weeks just go get new coats and hats for their character!
