Impressive that you've got your light that high then.I havent even finished the story yet been messing around with the challenges and side missions
getting the tokens for the factions help once your level 20, i had 3 waiting for meImpressive that you've got your light that high then.
I was going to take my time but decided to blast through to try and get myself ready for Xur. Not that I'll be able to afford anything.
Just found out faction level up caps at 265. Might start leveling up factions at 240ish now. That went shit. I'll do the one more crucible thing then I'll finish the mission thingy and mess around with other stuff.
Good idea saving tokens.

He usually does come Fridays so expecting the same.Is Xur coming tomorrow?
I do but not at 230 light yet.Anyone wanna try giving the nightfall strike a go?
You can do strikes, crucible, lost sectors, challenges, adventures... and once you've finished the story you can replay certain story missions at an NPC. When you complete them you get tokens which you exchange for rep.Put another few hours in this evening and opened another planet. You guys talk about grinding, what exactly do you mean? In a game like Dark Souls, for example, it means playing certain areas over and over and over to level up. Can you do that in Destiny 2? So far the missions I've completed in EDZ have vanished after I've finished them.
Okay, thanks. You can do strikes, crucible, lost sectors, challenges, adventures... and once you've finished the story you can replay certain story missions at an NPC. When you complete them you get tokens which you exchange for rep.
Really? That is good.Xur isnt coming this friday. Starts from week 2.
Public events and patrols too.Okay, thanks.
Good luck soloing nightfalls and raids .I'm assuming it's best to finish the main story before moving on to those things? That's my plan, anyway. I solo'd all three of the Borderlands games and Ghost Recon Wildlands, so I can handle this.
Presumably those are exclusively multiplayer. And not the main story.Good luck soloing nightfalls and raids .
Shame there's no XUR this week, could have done with him as the Raid starts Wednesday
nightfalls in destiny 1 could be soloed by a normal player with the right nightfall, raids were done as well but not by us mere mortalsPresumably those are exclusively multiplayer. And not the main story.
Not really that long. I played basically a day, though the majority of that was messing about and such more than the main campaign.Already?? How long did that take?
Levels and light don't seem to matter in the crucible, yesterday I was matched with people with who were level 4 with 40 light and I was level 20 over 200, and they could kill me just as easy as I could kill them. What's the situation with Crucible? Are we best waiting to complete the campaign before jumping in? Picked up a solid AR from the Crucible guy at The Farm and I'm eager to get in and dish out some punishment but can't remember how it all works in terms of weapon levelling, abilities etc. Might grind out more missions tonight then hit Crucible all weekend.

If you get sucked in you will put in over 600 hours it's just one of those games
Heroic level public eventsAnyone know if there is a similar area to Court of Oryx in this game? Or will it be just plain public events?
Cheers @christy87
I'm not rushing myself to get to Level 20. Savouring the grind.
Brings back good memories of getting excited at the sight of a blue engram.
for some at the momentClans are live now.
I played one game of Survival. My team won the first 2 rounds then the enemy won the last 4... was a fun game mode though.Anyone played crucible? Weird that competitive has no objective to it. I liked the game mode in the beta.
