Bayern are on the verge of nothing, apart from winning another Bundesliga title. Rice is not leaving England.
Idk man, would do great for his career. Let’s say he went there for four years, he could learn a lot and do pretty well in the CL. Then at 28 he could come back to England in his prime.Bayern are on the verge of nothing, apart from winning another Bundesliga title. Rice is not leaving England.
How good is this guy? Can he cope outside England Will he be like other EPL flops at Bayern like Mane Sane and Cancelo?
I'd rather we got Rice and Bayern take Sancho off our hands!I think he'll be solid for whoever he signs for. Not a very flashy player but defends very well, can burst forward with his extreme athleticism. His passing is not really typical Bayern level in my opinion, but maybe he'll be the solid player.
In a dream world that would work for me too but they don't seem like mugs to me!I'd rather we got Rice and Bayern take Sancho off our hands!

One can hope, TBF Sancho has proved he can play in Germany though so maybe it's not that dumb from their perspectiveIn a dream world that would work for me too but they don't seem like mugs to me!
I like(d) Sancho a lot and thought he was a can‘t-miss player. Therefore I‘d welcome him at Bayern but we desperately need a 6 (and a striker) and already have enough underwhelming wingers (Mané, Gnabry, Sané)…I'd rather we got Rice and Bayern take Sancho off our hands!
Bit of a risky proposition though, ain't he? He looks mentally checked out. I think that would concern Bayern more than ability. I don't think we'd be wanting to take a hit in FFP so he would still cost a chunk for a club to speculate on. He's a problem, I don't even know what to suggest with him right now. If an acceptable offer came I would take it but it remains to be seen whether that's forthcoming. I think we might receive loan offers so clubs can understand what's going on with him better. One can hope, TBF Sancho has proved he can play in Germany though so maybe it's not that dumb from their perspective
TBH we're taking a hit whatever we do, by staying he's hurting us, he's blocking the potential of Pellestri and probably Amad, we can't retain those 3 and Antony, if we sign a CF he's not going to displace Rashford or Garnacho, I actually think long term he's really a 10 but he's got getting past BrunoBit of a risky proposition though, ain't he? On what planet are Sané and Cancelo „flops“ for Bayern? Sané might be underwhelming considering his obvious talent but he is not a „flop“.

But that was when a defensive solution was needed on the back - against better opposition you cannot play with two forward thinking fullbacks. It had more to do with tactics than with quality of the players.Sane is on his 3rd season and not able to get a guaranteed starting shirt, I had much hopes for Sane but beyond his speed, he has nothing else, his decision making are also amateur level
Cancelo was getting benched too in the 6months loan period sometimes for Stanisic before Davies got injured

Will be better than Enzo.
Grealish has a lot more talent though. I would have been happier to pay that for Grealish, but oth are a risk.I just don't see him as a £105M player, in the same way that £100M for Grealish was way over the top.
Why bad for West Ham?Bad move for both sides.
Well he'll be playing for a more functional team, so possibly? Enzo needs to join a better circus.
From my understanding Enzo would be an attacking mid, so there is the need for someone to run the game for them in midfield, they are hard to get.Well he is also part of the circus and decided to join it.
Im pretty confident that Caicedo and Enzo as a partnership wouldn’t be that great as assumed by some and wouldn’t bring 100 mill worth performances out from Enzo on a regular consistent basis.

Same. Impresses me every time I see him and I think he’ll transform ArsenalI think it's a great transfer for Arsenal to be honest
Not that you should need stats to tell you Rice isn't the FDJ/Kroos profile midfielder we're talking about.
He really fixes none of our problems.Rice would have been the perfect signing for us to replace Cas and be a mainstay heartbeat of the team for many years to come. Hell, he would even be a fantastic captain here. Still mad that we wasted all that money on Mount instead of going all in for Rice.
Honestly i think a lot of people expected him to do less than he did at west ham actually, be more of a pure defensive destroyer, ball winner and defensive screen. Turns out his ability in possession and attack was underratedHe's done fine from what I've seen. Adapted to their style after about a month, stepped up in big games and provided more muscle away from home at places like Everton where they faltered last season.
Seemingly people were expecting him to morph into Bellingham with the 100m pricetag but reality is he just needs to do the things he was doing exceptionally well at West Ham and he's done it.
He really fixes none of our problems.
He's been one of, if not the, best players at the team that top the league and yet he wouldn't alleviate a single problem at United? He really fixes none of our problems.
Watching this you almost forget he's the best player in an entirely different Premier League club.
We need a player to dictate play, and he's nowhere near that, we also need a midfielder who is press resistant, which he is very average as shown in the graph posted by someone else. He's been one of, if not the, best players at the team that top the league and yet he wouldn't alleviate a single problem at United?
