It's a bit shite for those who had planned City picks within the original timeline. I'm not complaining, I had planned for Kompany, Koulibally and Tito and executed that after being told of 2020-23. I only switched my backup plans from Pirri or [Dutch midfielders] to Pirri or Koke.

Actually, if I missed out on Tito I was tempted to just crash and burn with Fede Valverde. Been bitching for years that we finally have a midfield when our defence and attack are OAPs. Will have a short peak though, there's no way he can sustain that workrate without injuries breaking him down.

Those skipping are trying to avoid spunking a club/country on a player they won't play anyway. For others, they are getting upgrades or tactical options.

Personally, I'm in the former camp, but I picked because the notion of skipping seems complete bollocks to me.

Haaland wouldn't have fit my team since I have Super (Ro)mario up front. Dias might actually start for me at CB though.

I would have thought he would be a strong flavour of the month. So much so that I considered not getting Kompany to stop others having him. What's the point of having German Bayern Müller if people are picking a Norwegian hat-trick droid at 12th?
