God knows why, you still have Horvath and the greatest keeper in the world, Wayne Hennessey.
Hovarth isn’t very good - Luton turned him down for £4m after getting them promoted.

Wrong.

Forest wanted him to play 30 games before triggering the buy option. That’s a ridiculous number of games. Especially when you consider he can’t play versus United, so max number of games he could play is 36.
And he’s injured and will miss the first month of the season, which means he basically won’t be able to hit it. Forest just want a no strings attached loan and we rightfully told them to feck off for being cheap pricks.

Is he still injured?
He’s on the bench for United today

Are we a month in already? Fit & on the bench. You need better ITK info ;)

As long as they pay his wage bill, that is acceptable at the very least. I hope Forest get relegated for having a crap defence, that's what they deserve for toying with us over Hendon who's a decent gk at PL level.

Their keeper today looked genuinely terrible.

Forest thought they were getting a free run at him.
Good to see Palace stepping in and getting the deal sorted in a few days.
Meanwhile that Turner guy looks a bit suspect. Teams will definitely test him with long shots.

Permanent transfer by the looks of it, wonder what the fee will be? Has to be at least 15 million surely?

Forest paid 10m for an older, worse and non-homegrown keeper in Turner. Anything less than 20m would be terrible.

I'll bet it's more like 12m£ (+2). Nothing factual about this but intuition. He's injured, MU not in a strong position to negotiate. Hope I'm wrong though.

A torn quad is a really awful injury, too, especially for a keeper. It's like a torn hamstring for a winger: long recovery time, diminishes one of their most important attributes and there's no guarantee the muscle will go back to its original strength pre-injury.

I still have this image of julian speroni as the palace keeper.

Wages as ever with our Woodward crew will always have an impact. £15m is a decent fee I reckon, especially in a slow keeper market.

Bad day for Forest Red. Blew a 2 goal lead at Old Trafford and now his no. 1 transfer target is off to Palace

To be fair, Turner looks like a bang average PL level keeper, and therefore probably better than Henderson.

I dislike Henderson as much as the next guy but let's not be silly here
