Deadline Day! | Confirmed Signings in OP

According to French Newspaper le Parisienne, Bastos could join Fulham. Would be a sexy signing that.

when are people going to realise that Ferguson is happy with his central midfield options; hence why, we havent signed any of those rumoured over the last few years
You should know better, GB - that will never happen!

I'd say Harry is doin all the wheeling and dealin on AVB's behalf, it's mental the muppetry going on over there this year, it's gotta be a record for the mos ins and outs in one window surely?

I bet 'arry's used up all his transfers on his sky fantasy football team.

Reports that Berba is holed-up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

Oh god, are you guys prepared for the Stoke crowd later on? Do you remember what we saw last year? Horrific scenes.

Spurs have done well in terms of replacing players they've sold, but in terms of actually progressing, I'm not so sure. Losing Modric and VDV is a massive blow, and they've effectively replaced them with Dembele and Moutinho. So its not really a step forward, more just a sideways step. Will be interesting to see if they improve as a team.

I'd say signing Lloris is more of a progression, and will improve them.

It's not much fun wearing a Yarmulke, standing in the snow looking through the window while everyone else tucks into their turkey and stuffing.

Kirsty Gallagher is showing a bit of cleav. Good girl, Kirsty. Always loved your home videos show.

Just read this on yahoo's live deadline day feed.

Comment From John C
Rumour is Bendtner flew himself to Turin. His confidence was so high he didn't need a plane.

We need to do something about Stoke. Look at the gremlin to the right of the reporter in that first video, how is that allowed?

Position-wise Sigurdsson is VDV and he'll get them a good number of goals and is much younger. Dembele/Moutinho are replacements for Modric, so I think they've improved by a slim margin.

Well they've replaced 2 players with 3 players. So they've improved the squad, first team wise they may have suffered slightly, but they're all younger. Will be interesting to see how Spurs lineup.

I don't think Sigurdson is a patch on VDV myself. He's a good player, and will be far less injury prone, but in terms of overall quality, he's definitely a step down in that regard. But a step up in terms of fitness and being able to rely upon him more. So I guess that evens it out a bit.

The other two are very good signings, but neither as good as Modric. Although, signing both probably does equal out the loss of Modric. But thats why I think its more of a sideways move. The players they've bought equal out the loss of other players, but don't really improve them. They just make them (probably) as good as they were before. Had they added those three and kept Modric, then you'd be thinking, wow that's fantastic improvement.

Portuguese Newspaper Abola saying City have signed Javi Garcia for 25m Pounds.
