Deadline Day! | Confirmed Signings in OP

Rumored. That hasn't been confirmed, that I've seen.

It must be amazing to lose a player and then replace him directly in the same transfer window.

I'm quite surprised you haven't bought a striker. You'll be left with Giroud who is unproven, Podolski who's more of a wide player and is patchy and Chamakh, who Wenger obviously doesn't rate.

I'll wait until 11pm before I start my diatribe.

We quite desperately need a CM, a bit of RB cover and a forward who'll play off the last man. Someone like Hernandez really. If we end up getting none of them, then heads should roll.

I don't even think Chamakh rates Chamakh.

People are too quick to forget that he got some useful goals in his first six months. He's just completely devoid of confidence, and once RVP got fit, his career went downhill, understandably.

I'm not saying he's great by any means, but if he could replicate that level, he'd be useful from the bench.

Wright, Nastastic, Maicon, Sinclair and Javi Garcia?

That's a lot of average players. None are better than they have or indeed many of the Mark Hughes players they have got rid of. Really wasteful and unstrategic planning process.

Guess if they do end up with a similar list of players it will give some depth but it does not worry me - our 2nd string feel much stronger.

QPR sign Chinese international Foo Kin Every Wan on a 4 year contract.

Good business, will help them a lot.

No chance. They'll be very lucky to break the top 10.

I agree, they seem to be signing anybody who'll join without much thought. They just signed Robert Green, he had 1 bad game and now they've signed another keeper!

Maicon will start for them, about it.

Modric out. Moutinho and Demebele in.

Good business imo.

Is that confirmed and dusted. If so best bit or business this window. They will make a very strong pairing in the middle.

Levy is bloody good at this transfer game. Especially when he sells Dembele to us next season for double the price a la carrick!

Green was so bad in one recent game I watched that I thought he'd taken a bribe.

Adam to Stoke is a done deal.

Will we get another shot of inbreds from Stoke cheering on Sky?

Why is VdV going?

His wife is a TV presenter in Hamburg.

This is his wife -

But he's a narrow-minded bean counter who doesn't appreciate the mess that ensues from restructuring your team two months after pre-season begins every year.

He's also someone who routinely breaks his word but, hey, that's ok in these soulless days of 'business-first', it seems.
