Deadline Day! | Confirmed Signings in OP

Ian Abrahams has just said City have working on a pretty big deal... for a striker. Because they need more of them!

Does that mean Leighton Baines to us is happening?

fecking hell, we aren't getting a midfielder, aren't we? Llorente to Spurs now doing the rounds.

Hah no, Oviedo wasn't even a regular first team player for Copenhagen. He'll be backup for Baines.

We'll never sign a CM, that much is obvious! :p

Brazilian striker Hulk is into 9/4 for a move to Tottenham, that made me laugh.

City in for Villa apparently. I hope this doesn't happen because I really like Villa!

Michael Owen has been active on twitter all morning.

I think he is trying to sell himself again

BBC: "Dan in Kent, via text: "I work in the Spurs club shop. My boss has just told me to print 350 number 9 shirts. All I can say is it's a massive signing of a Spanish international.""

Llorente to Spurs?

Mancini as confirmed that he will bring in three more players .

Owen's available on a free so deadline day doesn't apply to him.

Mancini could be very busy , reports saying that five players could be bought in.

You'd think a free agent could secure a contract in time for the season start at any rate.

De Jong signed for Milan and yeah I have no idea why they signed Maicon. Quite an unnecessary signing.

Owen would be grand if he didn't still think he was too good for the level that he's at now.

This is a player who felt it an injustice that he was being overlooked by Capello and still believes he will break Charlton's scoring record for England.

Excellent. We're getting a traffic update at the Spurs training ground from Sky Sports.

I figure that since they aren't getting Agger, Mancini might be banking on Richards in the centre instead.
