Dave is by far the most important player in our team, whose performances remain at world class level regardless of managers in charge. He is already a legend in my opinion, as he is staying with us during our worst times in the last 25 years. Pay him whatever he wants. Well deserved, hats off.
I am convinced Big Dave will leave us one day but I hope he extends for just a few more years at least until he completes ten years. It'll be a shame for him to leave us with his trophy tally so hopefully we can actually win some meaningful titles soon.

That's why we want to get it signed now. If we get this huge contract done, Real will move for someone else. This would be the contract that secures him with us for a long time, we would demand far too much to let him leave.

That is not how that stat works.
DDG has obviously faced more than 33 shots this season. The expected value of goals from those shots (which takes into account shot difficulty) is 33. A gap of 14 speaks to DDG's brilliance, but it also speaks to how effective our defense is at not letting opportunities occur (not much apparently).
One can lie with statistics yes, but this isn't one of those cases.
