Day 9: Cameroon vs Serbia | South Korea vs Ghana | Brazil vs Switzerland | Portugal vs Uruguay

By letter of the law it's not a penalty. The arm being used for balance when you slide to the ground is deemed a natural position. We saw this in the EPL recently when Chalobah did the same thing away to Newcastle.
The Iranian ref saw the hand and ran straight back delighted with his decision

Doubt he has the foggiest idea about supporting hands, etc

Bookies must be in a spot of bother tonight. I imagine over the course of the past 30 mins they have likely had to pay out on both Ronaldo and Fernandes first goal bets.

Now Bruno is doing it on the world stage. I wonder what his haters will say now
Not to ruin the wankfest but people never used Pogba's France performances to say he's playing well for us and rightfully so.

My issue with that example. That defender is sliding in to block a cross. In this instance, the defender has been put on his ass by a great piece of skill by Bruno that should be rewarded.
The people arguing do it because the notion of intent is influencing their view. It doesn't always matter, the handball in this case prevented a clear goalscoring chance

It wasn't the best performance by Portugal but how shite was Uruguay

Anyhow, we deserved nothing and if we can't beat Ghana or can't get the GD then tough shit.

Just wish we played a single game with a good ball-playing lineup to build on in future.

Very happy but that's Santos secured for the Euro :(

Ronaldo looks really mad clearly hahahaa

You lot are so strange sometimes

Very happy for Bruno and Bruno only :)

Without Ronaldo making something of that, that's just a shit cross from Bruno. Would have been catching practice for the keeper. :p

Ronaldo has been very good in this game to be fair. Playing like a 'free man'. ;)
Maybe but he doesn’t have to insist to say he scored it. That’s pathetic.

I want wall-to-wall coverage on Ronaldo being told he didn't score the first goal.
