This is how they play. This style of play is what the players are used to. What hasn't been mentioned is that Rangnick effectively created this team a decade ago when he was responsible for Red Bull's football department. He ensured that all clubs under RB's leadership would play this way, would coach the managers coming up through their system in that style and it spread throughout Austria.
He created modern Austrian football and now is reaping the rewards by managing their national team, full of players who grew up implementing his vision of football.
