Another game ruined by the referee. Shocking decisions all around. Truly dire BBC punditry. Germany flatter to deceive.

nani was easily portugal's best player considering the circumstances. Eder worked hard. Ronaldo being ronaldo when things dont go his way. A game to forget for portugal though.
 
Dind't expect such an easy game for Germany. Spain and Portugal sucked in the first games big time. Germany were good but it's too early to make any predictions. Müller :cool:

Pepe is an idiot, Portugal have to beat USA and Ghana to advance and even that looks like it might be hard. That team really is piss poor apart from maybe Coentrão and Pepe but the wally got himself sent off.
 
So far germany and Holland look to be the most dangerous teams. Germany have more quality all over the pitch, but Holland have a great manager in van gaal. It would be an interesting match.
 
I can only say it was very idiotic reaction by Pepe..

For this time, i think Germany has it all, as Portugal (as we know) dont have any MF that can control the game or give some pinpoint pass
 
pepe clown, the midfield three of portugal so poor, i expect Merieles to be a bit shit but moutinho was dreadful wasted so much, not much ronaldo, nani, eder could do tonight
 
In terms of team organisation, Germany is probably as good as it gets at this WC. Probably the worst opponent for disjointed Portugal.

I got Muller at 30/1 on paddy power to be top scorer, you would think he would bag a couple against USA and Ghana fingers crossed. Would love him at united he is just ruthless and always scores in the big un's.
 
There are some utter douches making out Argentina's team is so much better than Portugal's.

Defensively - Pepe, Alves, Coentrao and Pereira are better than Garay, Campagnaro, Fernandez and Rojo. In Midfield - Meireles, Moutinho and Carvalho/Veloso are better than Mascherano, Gago and Rodriguez

It's going forwards where Argentina excel, and only Messi is better than Ronaldo out of both attacks.

Yup. The have a bunch of good players and they were all crap today, the supposed "best player in the world" was among the worst.
