Rudiger
he's bothI can never decide if Havertz is actually pretty good, or pretty shit.
Too many players do that for my liking too. They do that for carrying and for passing too.Recently when I watch Football games, I think about this sentence that coaches used to tell us, "the ball travel faster than the legs". Is it me or way too many players don't follow that logic and try to carry the ball way too much in situations where a pass and move is the obvious and easier option?
It's the old xG argument. It's just something you don't worry about normally as long as you keep creating and dominating, the goals will come. Not convinced by Havertz tbh. Rather play Füllkrug at this point.
I think it's a worry if a team dominates like that, creates as many chances but isn't able to score from open play, yet looks so weak defensively itself.
That's like somebody I used to knowJapan's corners are mostly a chance for the other team to counter.

But is a tournament long enough for your goals reverting to their xG value? It's the old xG argument. It's just something you don't worry about normally as long as you keep creating and dominating, the goals will come.
Players afraid to shoot in this world cup
They really shouldn't be a dark horse. They have most of Bayern's team who is a top 3 club team in the world, along with the manager who won the CL with most of said team just a few years ago. They should absolutely be top 3 favourites. People let performances from 4 years ago under a different manager influence their judgements way too muchThat depth in quality Germany has in midfield is incredible. I fancy them being a dark-horse in this tournament.
Hedging your bets there. I said good saves, but know I will get told he should have scored. Some GK heroics/terrible finishing
