Day 3 | Poland vs Netherlands | Slovenia vs Denmark | Serbia vs England

Also depay is shite and always has been. Never seen him have a good 90 mins.

I miss the old days when the Dutch had good players.

What a horrible game of football.

There is some quality in both teams but neither look like they are likely to go much beyond the round of 16 unless they get a favourable draw, which I suppose given how many teams will go through is possible.

It's not that simple. He s been huge for the national team on many occasions but he's not a RvP, RvN, Bergkamp, Cruyff, Kluivert, Van Basten and all the other great forwards theyve had. I gotta give give him credit for often stepping up in an era when their teams have been uncharacteristically underwhelming.

Almost 75 minutes and Memphis Iverson still allowed to stink up the place while the great Wout warms the bench. ;)

Very mediocre Dutch team. Wouldn't be surprised if they fail to get out of their group.

Always though Zalewski was Italian

He could play for Italy given he was born and raised in Rome. Little chances he become the next Totti/De Rossi though, Roma have tried to sell him for €15/20m several times in the past 12 months.
He made the correct decision to represent Poland anyway. With Dimarco, Udogie, Spinazzola and soon Atalanta's Ruggeri in his role he would never be call up by Spalletti

Jezus not Wout Weggy. Why not Zierikzee (hes late to the group I know but still)

I think he’d do well in Premier League, probably not United level but still quite good at the LWB. Love the lad, so technical and with the right amount of confidence

The Dutch need to bring on Frimpong

Should have started him, very obviously. Whether as wing back or right winger.

I'm almost tempted to bet on Germany for this tournament seeing as they have the one manager who's not completely clueless (although I don't know Spain's manager to be fair).
