Just hope we see this game out without the traditional "all going well before we fecked it up late on" move. Hope we've outgrown those days.

Better than Foden any day of the week in my book. That said haven't really watched City too much apart from when they play us. Saka though turns up for England every time and I don't make a habit of watching Arsenal either. Should be getting similar praise in this game as Bellingham. If only Walker finds him more ... he'd have even more of an impact.
 
England fans singing that dirge of a national anthem (pretty sure they’re still singing ‘send *her* victorious too) and then giving themselves a nice little round of applause afterwards will never not be funny
 
Hope Mainoo starts ahead of Trent in the next game. Fingers crossed Shaw will be able to get some minutes in the final group game too.

That thread was an embarrassment after that. Heard someone saying he should be dropped. And many more saying he wouldn't get in other teams. Madness
 
TAA continuesly showing why having him in the CM or anywhere where he needs to defend or track back, isn't such a good idea.
 
Not overly impressed. I think we could be controlling this game better. Not a fan of TAA in midfield - seems lost

Not sure you can call him a great player and overrated at the same time. I just think it’s united tinted glasses that play down his career.
 
Weird how difficult England find it to get Kane chances. He’s one of the best goal scorers around but is invisible most of the time for his country.
 
Guehi, Bellingham and Saka have been great.

The Serbian team isn't necessarily bad on paper but they can't play football whatsoever.

Then I guess it's kind of appropriate that they are playing each other. I suggest we split the tournament into EU and non-EU. Maybe Norway finally has a chance of qualifying for something then.
