Day 2: Wales vs Switzerland | Denmark vs Finland | Belgium vs Russia

First game and first goal. What should have been an iconic moment.

I know it's all meaningless in the grand scheme of things, and I'm half Danish, so my allegiance is clear, but I do feel a bit sorry for them.

How wasn't that offside for Lukaku? Don't mind, just seemed way off and that touch couldn't have reset the play.

How far has Kasper Dolberg's star fallen? He was starting at Ajax and being called the next Zlatan not too long ago and now he can't even get a kick with the team down 1-0 and two strikers on the pitch.

Wait Lukaku was 2 metres offside? How is this a goal? Not like the Russian cleared it on purpose.

Wasn't lukaku offside when his teammate passed the ball to him? These offside rules always confuse me.

His knee caught poulsons ankle

Because Poulsen slows down and keeps his leg sticking out for the contact. He does that a lot in Bundesliga, he's a bit clever about it, so it's subtle enough to fool the refs sometimes, but if you watch him a lot you see the pattern.

You're annoyed that Lukaku got his goal ?
Did you not see the replay? He looked offside

That is ridiculous to give. Defender is defending the ball going in to an offside player. How the hell they supposed to let that go assuming the player is offside? Ridiculous

He had a goal first season at Nice. Not sure what happened this year, seems injuries and general loss of form.

Its offside in my opinion cuz it was not a different phase of play but I can see why goal was given

I presume it’s onside because the Russian player deliberately tried to control the ball?
