Day 2: Wales vs Switzerland | Denmark vs Finland | Belgium vs Russia

I believe this is Finland's first ever game at a major tournament. What a traumatic thing to experience on their first appearance, after what was I presume a hugely celebratory build up.

Why is this tournament being played in so many cities, and half of the teams seem to be at home?

Italy in italy, Russia in Russia, Denmark in Denmark etc.

First game and first goal. What should have been an iconic moment.

Denmark: its like watching United play

Harsh on United. Once I went to watch Denmark play in the winter with the temperature inside the stadium at -18. It was so boring and I got so black out drunk that I still don't remember much of the next 2 days. My mate tells me I broke a bar chair sometime during the night.

The fact that there's an MLS player currently on the pitch in Euro 2020 blows my mind (Jukka Raitala for Finland). Just typing this up feels weird to me.

I wonder if Denmark players really wanted the game to continue. I mean if Eriksen told them to do so there was no other option

It's a one-off to celebrate 60 years of the the tournament or something.

Poulsen is such a diving cnut. He does that in Bundesliga all the time.

Typical Finland scoring after being dominated by a while.

I hope Denmark at least pass group stage, i believe Eriksen won't be able to play the Euro, and he is their best player. That's a huge loss.
