Chile has to do their work now. They need to win vs Australia and get a draw against Spain at least. That should suffice!

What a game. Robben, Van Persie and Sneijder (...when he wasn't shooting) all played great, which doesn't seem to happen very often.

Know it was only one game but is anyone else wondering if it wouldn't make more sense to sign Blind for left back instead of spunking £30million on Shaw? He looked great in defence AND going forward.

Unbelievable though. The Dutch were so well drilled. This game showed Van Gaal's tactical brilliance. RVP and Robben to have a great tournament based on that. No telling how far the Dutch could go now.

What a start to this World Cup! Stunning game tonight! Wow! Masterclasses from Van Persie, Robben, and Van Gaal. Brilliant!

The Netherlands/Chile could manufacture both sides going through. The goal difference is significant here.

So how many of those people who think they know football so well that they claim they can make money betting on football saw that coming?

what a game of football.

Rodgers, Wenger, Maurinho and whats his name...ahh Pelligrini....

be afraid.
It was one game, wait and see how they get on when they're favourites against Australia before getting too excited.

Triffic performance by Holland. They completely humiliated Spain.

Robben was a God, RVP was brilliant and Blind was ridiculosuly good.

Hope that my prediction of Spain not passing the groups will become true. If Chile manages a draw against them, most likely they'll be out.

Del Bosque punished for being too sentimental.

Casillas and Torres should've been out of the picture atleast 2 seasons ago.
