As much as I'd love Messi to win it, I fear that the supporting cast simply isn't good enough.

Kind of the story of the tournament, the good teams aren't that good, but it is making for an incredibly competitive series of games.
Great fight from Australia, can be very proud of themselves. As for Argentina, they’ll rely on moments of magic from here out and they’ll meet a quality side and fall.

Fun match towards the end. Felt like more of a contest than US-Netherlands even if Argentina were clearly better. Argentina play on pure emotion. Helps when you have great support but don't think relying on passion and Messi magic is sustainable for an entire tournament.

It's really warm and humid. Him walking around and picking his spots to engage helps him a lot.
