Day 11: England vs Panama, Japan vs Senegal and Poland vs Colombia

Lingard's movement off the ball is incredible. He must be a nightmare to defend against.

Yep, not as flash in his general play as Ali, but just does the right thing constantly, keeps moving and using the ball quickly, the type of player who other players really appreciate.

How has the BBC commentator missed Loftus-Cheek being booked for the tackle 2 minutes ago?

The card is borderline glow in the dark yellow.

To be fair, they did say at the beginning that they are having a few issues with their monitors inside the stadium. Must be that because the yellow was clear as day.

In case of penalty shootout later in the knockout stages Kane should be allowed to take all 5 penalties. What a pen:drool:

How did they miss Loftus Cheek being booked, I saw that! They're getting paid for this. I'm sounding like a broken record but BBC's coverage has been piss poor this tournament in terms of pundits and commentators.
I thought that. It came up on the screen!

Apparently their monitors are in and out.

Come in Panama, stop being disgraceful
The entire world is fecking watching

I'm sure he would be great in a Spurs side. Just don't tell anyone I said that!

Decent bit of play from Panama. Their final ball/shot have been shit though.

Having both Tunisia and Panama in the same group is crap. Both roll over too easily, wish they had been in separate groups.

Minnows all you want and I'm sure we'll hear that but when you've witnessed a Group with USA-Algeria-Slovenia and struggled to 5pts/2nd.....this is fun to watch, controlling and taking the chances/positions to win spot kicks.

People giving Panama too much stick, they have not been bad going forward. England haven't been particularly good either. The scoreline is a bit flattering at the moment.

If they cut out the shitty antics, they might gain some respect here.

Is there anything in the rules that would stop England and Belgium just trying to score own goals the whole game?

I don't think there's any such thing as 'cushioning' off Maguire's head, the size of the thing that ball was always going to cannon off it.

The US got overconfident and Panama got very jammy.

If you guys think Panama is dirty and aggressive, just watch a Honduras game. Dirtiest national team in the sport, bar none.

Panama are a despicable cheating team. I hope we utterly smash them. No one wants to see teams like this in the WC. Let’s hope they don’t qualify again.

We all know they are poor, but at least have some class.

I don't normally care much about England, but this Panama team are a right bunch of shites. I hope England destroy them.

This defence is garbage though. No one in that back 3 is a good defender.

BBC commentary has been poor but the punditry has been good I reckon. Really like Lampard and Rio together and Shearer has been much better in the last year or so.

Is that a pen?
Can a player shove his teammate into Lingard? Is that legal?
