Day 10 | Scotland v Hungary | Switzerland v Germany

I wouldn't take off Gilmour, he's the only one that can find a decent forward pass.

Can only think Armstrong was actually offside and they quickly identified it to get the game moving as going to be 7-8 minutes injury time alone from the terrible injury.

Hopefully the last time I have to cast my eye on Anthony Ralston in a professional football match.

Scotland at least trying to win it.

Hungary seem content to draw 0-0 and get eliminated with minimal fuss.
I've felt that during this game Hungary have been trying to be dodgy whereas Scotland have been trying to play football. Granted, it's shite football, but football nonetheless.

Everyone was bashing themselves daft after Germany stuffed Scotland. They didn’t look great vs Hungary and they have been poor tonight

I can see why the ref didn't give it, it looked more like like he was just looking for the pen rather than going to score. But most refs are giving that

Not a stonewall pen as some seem too be suggesting imo

one angle it looked it

another, it didn’t

We dont need passing where we're going. ROUTE 1
I don't see the need for it, Scotland have been winning the ball back in decent areas all game, they just need to commit a few more men into the box and have Gilmour/McGinn give some decent crosses.

Unforgivable for that Swiss lad to stray offside there.

There was no need to be offside there. Awful effort to stay on.

I can see why the ref didn't give it, it looked more like like he was just looking for the pen rather than going to score. But most refs are giving that

exactly

there is an angle that seems too suggest he’s clearly manoeuvring too get the pen

It's the Euro not the world cup. Do we have European refs in the copa America?
I don't know, nor particularly care. I want the best refs at big competitions though.

Do Scotland have any other attackers apart from Shankland.

Need to take another CB off. Minimal chance they go through with 2 points, surely they didn't seriously discuss that pre match.

Time for an upset alert. Germany to face England in the round of 16?

I've felt that during this game Hungary have been trying to be dodgy whereas Scotland have been trying to play football. Granted, it's shite football, but football nonetheless.
I mean... Scotland's first attempt on goal was in the 54th minute. I shudder to think what it would have been like had they NOT tried to play football.
