He´s just left already in his mind. He was the best player for many years, does not see any improvement and wants to go.
 
No matter how bad we were at some points in the seasons, he literaly cost us both in Champions league and for top4 during the most important period of the season.

Don't want to attack him, but it's really difficult to expect good results if he keeps leaking silly goals. I have no idea what is going on with him, he simply looks shit all of a sudden.

Edit: bit too harsh maybe, I don't want to make him our main culprit for losing out the top 4, far from that considering we had around 10 players who cost us even more this season, but it's bit annoying to see a keeper gifting so many goals, especially de Gea.

Superb Keeper that saved us pretty much every season. Clearly out of form and maybe other stuff too but if anyone deserves a free pass, it's DDG.

I doubt Madrid want him anymore, considering his poor reputation in Spain. I can see him going to PSG.

de Gea didn't cost us the top 4. It's been gone for months, United have been chasing ghosts.
 
No surprise that De Gea gifts them a goal given his current form. He's a wreck mentally right now.
 
His worst ever season at the club. Even worse than his first. If he refuses to sign on for wages we're willing to offer then sell him in the summer. Needs to be dropped in the immediate future as he's literally costing us in every game right now.
 
Amazing how some people have turned on him. He's been absolutely outstanding for United for about 7 years straight. Deserves to be dropped til he finds some form though.
 
No longer untouchable and definitely shouldn't bow to his demands on the back of this season.

Hopefully we can keep him and all will be rosy again but for the first time I wouldn't be too distraught if he did leave.

He has cost us 3-10 points though. With those points we would probably get top 4.

Although we could have messed up games in other ways too. I think with a De Gea in form though we would be 6-7 points better off and in the top 4.

I think he could turn it around, but someone need to talk with him and get him focused again. Maybe be dropped for this season so he can turn it around in the next one.

Yes, I can say that any player cost us top4, maybe I worded it bit harshly, but he cost us a lot during last few games in which we could make it in a top4.

Watched the goals now. The only good thing we had in the team the past few years is finally as shite as the rest. He can't save anything these days.
 
Let him go away from now and think about whether he really wants to be here. Have his little chat with Edurne.

If he doesn't want to stay, we take the cash from the highest bidder.

We have no capacity at this club to carry part-timers. Especially not in the GK position.
 
After the great service he's given us I am not going to take shots but his head is clearly gone right now, Romero getting a start vs Chelsea isn't out of the question.
 
An in form Ddg would have saved all three against Barca and both today. We have been spoilt with his performances, but lately he really has been poor. I'd let Romero play the next.
 
He needs dropping for his own good. Might give him a chance to clear his head

We've tried to let him play his way out of bad form and he's actually getting worse.

Should be dropped for the rest of the season.
 
I know he is so used to his leg but the second goal was the routine diving save for any half decent GK.

Yeah I agree with that. With a world class De gea from the past we might have been in a champions league semifinal and also safely in the top 4.

His form has really cost us big time and it is really sad. During his best periods you always did feel we could win all games even if the other teams destroyed us and it did happen under LVG a lot.
 
Lets not forget how many times he has saved us over the years. He has been immense. However he needs taking out until his future is decided as he is failing to make saves he normally would do. Bring sergio in who is a great keeper.
 
De Gea goes through a bad run of form for the first time in probably like 5 years it shows in United's results. Goes to show how much he's carried us over the years. We haven't been great but De Gea has been so fecking good that we still got loads of results and had good defensive records. It happens. Just hopefully his situation gets sorted out in the summer one way or another. Would obviously be better if he stayed, but wish him all the best if he does leave. He's been more loyal than anyone could have hoped for despite how shite we've been.

Hope that this situation is sorted one way or another. If he ia not going to sign, then sell him and get sime money in for a replacement. No point forcing this if he is not committed.

They are a big part of the reason we’re a shit show though. De Gea’s gone full Joe Hart right now, can’t save anything.

He needs taking out because if he’s not signing that contract then he’s costing us both in points and in decreasing his sale value.

They can consider careers all they want, teams are picked on form and not the name. He is in terrible terrible form. Poorest in his united career, letting goals go easily demanding more money, he should be dropped after that Barcelona errors. 2 games since that he cost us 6 points.

I'm not sure if there might be more at play, I remember when the whole fax machine saga happened, he never lost his composure and form, so this contract situation shouldn't be causing these lapses IMO, it feels like more. He isn't playing well I agree but to say he's part of the shit show is harsh, the last few months he has been poor, but he's been a shining light for us in what has been a 6 year shit show.

I'd have probably dropped him after Everton, but as Neville said tonight, it's not unusual for great servants to get leeway when in bad form, we did it with Rooney for way too long as well, it's the nature of football.
