They should organise a pre-season tournament comprising best players voted from each country in their respective top leagues.
I'm claiming any royalties for my idea.
Neuer is more prone to mistakes than DDG is, and he's older.
I wonder how they communicate. Can Shinji speak English much yet?

There really are some remarkable saves there. Which one's the best?
That save from Coentrao doesnt get the coverage it deserves. I havent got a clue how he did it. He had absolutely no right to save it. One of the best saves I've ever seen.
One incredible save which has kind of been forgotten about (for obvious reasons!) was the double save against City, right before Tevez set up Toure to slot the rebound. Was gutted for De Gea when that went in.
That's a glorious idea... though Germany and Spain would basically be Bayern/Dortmund and Madrid/Barca(+Falcao) mash-ups... though it would be worth it just to see that Spanish team.
The Daily Mail would hate it mind. 2 Enlgishmen in a Premier League select XI!?
Go ahead, flog me for what I am about write:
We are witnessing in David De Gea a young footballer who at the conclusion of his playing career will be regarded by near unanimous consensus as the greater goalkeeper ever to play the game.
Please, have your go!
Greater than what?

To be honest while it's still early days I think you might not be far off the mark here. To be at the level he is at the age he is for a goalkeeper is outrageous. I've backed him since he began since he is obviously talented but he seems to have pulled off winning over the press and I think from here we are only going to see him get better and better.
You don't see this talent at this age in this position come around very often, and he is at one of the right clubs to make the most of it.

Has anyone got a better resolution of his warcry picture? You know, this one:

Unfortunately the Telegraph has fecked off behind a paywall, because they had an even better one at the time, which insisted that 'highly placed' sources at the club had written off De Gea as a hopeless cause.
