Fulham CB is a joke, but he's really lively and brave.
Yeah and I thought the keeper on that one did a good job of making himself big and covering all angles. He actually connected with an earlier attempt at the same thing better than he did on that one.
I think he was trying to joke. I think that “/s” means sarcasm on RedditYou answered your own question.
So you’re saying you don’t like him?I tried to convince everyone I know ( and myself) that the Nunez goal was a complete fluke. His assist was also just another miscontrol.
I am comfortable in that I will never give this guy even an ounce of credit for anything and he is easily my most hated rival player.
That feckin face uuughh
So you’re saying you don’t like him?
Although we have spent huge amounts over the last few years, the biggest difference between us and City is that they have the money and can afford to make expensive mistakes. When we spend big, it has to work otherwise we're stuck. How many £50m full backs have City bought over the years?Just as I predicted, Firmino struggling to exert any meaningful impact on the game.
Then Nuñez to come in and bully the CBs into him getting messy goal or assist.
Hey, as long as it works.
It was more grating seeing Trent pissing about and Hendo as well.
Whenever Liverpool FBs not playing well, their playing standard freefalls.
It seems that Klopp hasn't solved his over-reliance on his FBs
In this aspect, Pep has been actually better or maybe it's just his 800m spending bound to get him better set of players.

This is brilliantHe's like some kind of footballing Inspector Clouseau, where every mistake he makes ends up working out for him.

That's also true.Yet despite spending almost a billion on full backs. He still only has 2 left.

Yeah I think him starting against Palace is a no brainer. Firmino should be fifth choice behind the other four we have.I can't wait to see him play again.
With Firmino it feels like we're threading a needle through the cracks of a brick wall. Only the most precise and delicate of moves can go through.
Nunez so far is like a wrecking ball smashing through the back line. just put a ball in his general vicinity and he'll make something happen. It's exciting football.
Needs to be starting. Want to see if he can keep up his goal+assist per half of football ratio.
Nunez is a hammer! He was really good last game.Yeah I think him starting against Palace is a no brainer. Firmino should be fifth choice behind the other four we have.
I keep hearing how clumsy he is and how it's a bad thing. Suarez was probably one of the most luckiest and clumsiest dribblers I've ever seen in the PL but at the same time one of the best/one of the best strikers the league has seen.
Very true
Suarez was one of the most brilliantly bizarre players I’ve seen
his ability to get through players or get past situations by seemingly rebounding the ball off his oppositions was quite remarkable, he did it all the time as well too a point where you think this can’t be fluke anymore that the ball regularly found it’s way back too him
Like I say, looked flukey, probably was a lot of the time but when you play that way all the time, you become used to making your own luck and anticipating better, no one could handle that against him
But he isn't Suarez/Rooney type clumsy, he is Lukaku type clumsy.I keep hearing how clumsy he is and how it's a bad thing. Suarez was probably one of the most luckiest and clumsiest dribblers I've ever seen in the PL but at the same time one of the best/one of the best strikers the league has seen.
I think that's the jokeCan someone change/remove the cringeworthy "better than Haaland" extension in the thread title?
Unless there are injury issues, Núñez won't be half the striker Haaland is/will be.
But he isn't Suarez/Rooney type clumsy, he is Lukaku type clumsy.
Yeah, he gets into good positions but he has a poor touch and finish. He'll get goals because liverpool will create a lot for him.Struggles to make good contact with the ball, movement is great though.
