Darts

Fantastic, that. All the tournament missed was a nine darter. Other than that, brilliant.

Hopefully the security have given that lad a good hiding outside.

Is this Anderson fella supposed to be good? MvG is crushing him now.
:lol:He was back to back world champ, two time Premier League winner and just broke the world record for number of 180s in a match.
It's the way it is now- Ando looked on an off day yet averaged 104.5- the third highest average in a world final ever.
Wanted Ando to win but but MVG has been unplayable all year- those 100-130 checkouts for him are like 56s or 48s for normal players.

Had a few max stakes on Cadby to win next year's championships between 100 and 150/1. Whilst I don't think he will win it, he won't be those prices next year imo. Good opportunity to trade if you've got a decent enough bankroll.

One of the upcoming matches in the BDO Worlds is Paul Hogan v Tom Sawyer, get ready for the walk on music!

Did I see right last night they were saying BDO darts on CH 4 from tomorrow. More than likely the venue being some uninhabited island in the South Pacific where tasks are involved!

Paul Nicholson said on commentary that Gary Anderson didn't pick up a dart until 25 and his first 3 darts he scored 140 talk about natural talent, compared to my mate who was 19 first 3 darts didn't hit the board

Why is Wolfie still at that shitshow actually?
Darts politics. He hates the PDC and wouldn't move over. Shame really. He only played in that joint PDC/BDO tournament cos the BDO told him too, but you could see he enjoyed it- 8,000 people singing his name.

Find that hard to believe tbh!

Hogan 2-0 up on Durrant

Knew that was going to happen, said to my dad Hogan will either hit double 8 and win 4-0 or he will lose 4-3

Justin van Tergouw the 16 yr old won the world youth championship, he's going to be a quality player, if I was that good I would quit school/ work and go pro in the PDC

7pm ITV 4 : This Friday 27 Jan: The Masters Live. Also on a side note John Part has a PDC card this year along with Peter Manley I think. Anyway this weekend's masters is a nice aperitif before the start of the Premier League.

Good news on Part and Manley. One dart lost his tour card years ago- wonder if he's still got it in him. Hope so.

Cracking lineup tonight ITV4 from what I gather in the masters it is the top 16:

Dave Chisnall v Raymond Van Barneveld

Phil Taylor v Michael Smith

Gary Anderson v Benito Van de Pas

Peter Wright v Ian White.

Shit, forgot this was on. Blundered into an epic Wade v Thornton match at 8-8.

Afternoon session @ 1p.m CET:

Phil Taylor v Peter Wright

Gary Anderson v Raymond Van Barneveld

Robert Thornton v Adrian Lewis

Michael Van Gerwen v Mensur Suljovic,

The commentators are so boring lazy with their 'Gary of a few years ago would'veet his head drop' bollox. It's the same with footie commentators and DDG.

Start of The Premier League tonight MVG and Gary Anderson one of the 5 matches and with Klaasen and Huybrechts in the mix will be very interesting.

Here's how they lineup tonight in Minehead I think:

Kim Huybrechts v James Wade

Raymond Van Barneveld v Adrian Lewis

Phil Taylor v Dave Chisnall

Gary Anderson v Michael Van Gerwen

Peter Wright v Jelle Klaasen.

Opening night and thing is the standard is through the roof so would there be any surprises in the winner of any of the above matches. Obviously Huybrechts and Klaasen are no "newcomers" and I think this years lineup is the strongest it's ever been in so far as elimination night first time around when we lose 2 players it is wide open. Klaasen on his day can turn it on and Huybrechts just doesn't tend to just go away and Lewis hasn't been playing well for a long time and Chisnall well we just don't know.

Looking forward to it and all the venues and the atmosphere for 16 weeks or more ... Thursday's are about to get so much better.

Premier League rolls into Nottingham tonight and the lineup:

Adrian Lewis v Dave Chisnall

James Wade v Phil Taylor

Jelle Klaasen v Gary Anderson

Peter Wright v Michael Van Gerwen

Kim Huybrechts v Raymond Van Barneveld.

Anderson and MVG obviously favourites in their matches as for the other three matches any outcome possible.
