This is what I suspected before the game, that MvG's guns would come out firing heavy but Phil managed to withstand the onslaught and thanks to his experience he's on top now when it really matters. Fully expect him to win the game now and pocket myself a bit of $. MvG will surely be world champion one day but maybe not tonight

All over. Phenomenal darts from Taylor. He held on and weathered the early storm, then was relentless until he won.
Great Final, pity MvG didn't perform his best, but Phil turned on the power when he needed it. Already looking forward to the darts premier league!
