Not gonna lie. I welled up when James scored
Same here, I fecking love this kid. That celebration as well........ my new fave already!
Not gonna lie. I welled up when James scored
According to an old Swansea teammate, James put himself in his own fantasy team, then went and scored a goal
Not sure if my eyes deceive me, but in his goal celebration he looks shorter than the corner flag!Made me laugh getting embraced by his team mates when they were all leaning down to congratulate him
Absolutely loved his celebration the genuine delight on his face was lovely to see
My only slight worry for him is his pace is potentially going to lead to late challenges on him causing him to get injured, we saw a couple of mis timed challenges on him today
I've thought this too, I don't think I've ever seen a player at this club with acceleration like that. Opponents will hack him down either intentionally or by accident.
Its hard not to like this kid. Works hard, loads of pace, and seems to be genuinely ecstatic to be at the club.
Already happened. Spurs tried to cut him in two in the pre-season ‘friendly’. The one that Poch apologised about.I've thought this too, I don't think I've ever seen a player at this club with acceleration like that. Opponents will hack him down either intentionally or by accident.
Great comparison. So refreshing to have players like that at the club. His attitude reminds me of Chicharito, how it seems the world to him to just be at the club. Heartwarming to see. That and the dodgy goal as well.
And he skinned Kante only to get cut down on Sunday - was very good skill and awareness.Already happened. Spurs tried to cut him in two in the pre-season ‘friendly’. The one that Poch apologised about.
Not to mention the infectious smile. His attitude reminds me of Chicharito, how it seems the world to him to just be at the club. Heartwarming to see. That and the dodgy goal as well.

Did Kante get a yellow for that?
Good shout that. I think he's taken on the fans favourite role in that sense too.His attitude reminds me of Chicharito, how it seems the world to him to just be at the club. Heartwarming to see. That and the dodgy goal as well.

Yes.
He needs to bulk up a bit and put extra hours at the training ground to hone finishing and crossing. Just be Cristianoesque with work ethic and he will have a fantastic career.

Here's the moment when he completely beat Kante for pace, and Kante had to hack him down for a yellow card. He does that to Kante who's one of the world's best defensive midfielder!
There's just something in my eye
Just like that huh ?He needs to bulk up a bit and put extra hours at the training ground to hone finishing and crossing. Just be Cristianoesque with work ethic and he will have a fantastic career.
Just like that. We'll be churning our CR7 clones in no timeJust like that huh ?

I think we've signed three very level headed, likable lads who view United as the pinnacle and not a vehicle. Hopefully our next three signings are of that vein and a proper club culture is brought back. The release of emotion in his celebration was fantastic. You could tell what it meant to him just to be able to run out onto the pitch and then when the ball hit the net it just all came to the fore. I’m delighted for him and hope he’s a massive success here.
One thing I’ve noticed, even if we had a “bad” summer. All of our signings could easily become fan favourites.
