Nope not giving you that as even when he plays well there is atleast one mistake in him.
That's not what you originally said, hence my post about revisionism?? Hello?

Blind cost us a point. And gave 3 away to a team competing for the top 4. Bench him to Europa league , EFL, or FA cup games. He's got no business starting in the EPL anywhere in our back 4.

He has an average rating on here for 6.6 after 10 games having played in all of them. Sometime being MoTM and now he should not start for us anymore? Fickle much?

Normally he's good but when he's bad, Blind really is shocking. His first half performance was horrendous.

It's hilarious, you have the usual suspects that will not say a thing until he makes a mistake, they can't wait to bash him. He was shit today, no-one has argued he wasn't, but that doesn't mean he's always been shit. Memories of goldfish.

Get real Ivaldo he is a calamity of a defender. If you don't see that fine but it's clear as day. He makes 2-4 mistakes a game.

Oh it's going back up again.

Yeah, that's not true.
Also question for those who say he shouldn't play anywhere in defense, who should play at CB then? Smalling and Bailly?

Another player who's mid table standard. We seem to be stacking the feckers up. Another awful performance from him.

He was at fault for City's goals as well. He is hot and cold at LB. Today for example he was caught out numerous times. But he completely silenced Mane on Monday so it's a weird one. He is however a fantastic reader of the game, and his crosses are usually fantastic.

I think though, give Shaw a chance on Wednesday provided he's fit, and if Bailly injured then I guess Blind will have to fill in there.

He makes far too many mistakes in big games, they're mounting up now, even at left back he gets shown up.

When he plays well as a defender, it's usually at the bits that don't involve actual defending. He's good at passing it out from the back and, against Leicester, he was great playing as what was effectively a left midfielder.

He's pretty bad when he gets turned, though, and it happens all too easily when we're not playing LvG-ball. It's always been the case, but people ignore it because he's good at all the non-defender-type things.

Ok so what your really doing is deflecting the fact that I'm right about Blind being a calamity at the back and you being wrong. Nice work. Come on Ivaldo just admit I'm right and you are wrong on this one. Or do you want to go and try and turn it into something else? You said this I said that you meant this I meant that! Come on you know I'm right on this one lol

He does virtually every game. Last 3 games of the top of my head Stoke he caused their goal, Liverpool he nearly sold the jerseys and today well...

He didn't cost their goal as I remember. He put the ball out for their throw in but you can't say he caused their goal. I dont remember any mistake against Liverpool.

Can do a job at LB and at CB at times but shouldn't be starting for us, once Shaw is fully match fit he should make the LB spot his own.

Blind had a shocker today along with many other players, but for whatever reason he tends to escape the harsh criticism that other players seem to be getting.

What I'm doing is discussing the exact point you made, it is possible to harbour an opinion of a player between godlike and can't kick a ball. And stating Blind makes between two and four mistakes just shows your desperation to prove hes the late. He's anything but a calamity at the back, he just had a very poor game yesterday like the rest of the defense.

Really? Seems every goal we concede is used as a justification for why we should never have signed him.

We will see how long he lasts in the team. I'm not desperate to prove anything I'd love him to be the player you think he is. But truth be told we won't be climbing back to the top of domestic football with Blind in our defence. He will keep costing us goal after goal with his mistakes. 2 vs City, first goal today then nearly a penalty away, slip versus Liverpool then switching off for the DDG save, the Stoke goal that's just in the last 3-4 games. If you don't want to see it fine but it is what's happening. He is not covering himself in glory as a defender he is a calamity.

The fact type attribute the blame for the Stoke goal to Blind says it all for me really, it's a little saddening in fact.

DDG has also made mistakes recently, does, he have 4 mistakes a game in him also? The same with Smalling and Bailly? We are defnsively poorly as a collective right now, they aren't all shit players as a result of it.

Opinions on players flip flop after one good or bad performance on here, it's the mark of someone who is bad at assessing talent or perhaps it's just emotions running high after a awful performance. After the city game it was he needs to be dropped he isn't good enough even though I can't remember the last game before that he played badly. Then after the Leicester game it was he needs to start and look how good he is.

The truth is Blind is a very good player, he's been one of our most consistent since he's been here. I think we can count the truly poor performances on one hand, i don't think we can say that about anyone else except DDG in that time period. Yes we know he has his physical limitations but how often does he truly get shown up? Personally I've always wanted him in midfield and I still do, that is where he qualities are needed the most. Shaw has been good for me after a year out. He looked shaky against Fenerbahce but that was his first game back. Shaw is a good defender and he get sup the pitch and his overlapping runs help give whoever the left sided attacker is space. Blind was awful yesterday so uncharacteristic of him but we can't turn are back on players after one bad game. He brings much more to the table than he takes away.

One of the most overrated players out there. Makes one or two awful mistakes each game. Would be no more than a squad player in previous United teams. Unfortunately, our defense still remains a mess and he finds a regular spot in the XI.

And no, the solution is not giving him our deepest midfield position.

Redcafe! And how is 'world class' Shaw playing lately? Blind is currently the best we have in LB position, notwithstanding yesterday's match.

No defense for him in the first half. One of the three culprits for the first goal, and was very lucky that De Gea made that save when Pedro stole the ball from him.
