Had a similar thing happen to me and the Mrs, well sort of. We booked a trip to Greece but she didn't have 6 months left on her passport so they wouldn't let her travel. We had to go to Mallorca instead and it was full of pissed up Geordie's and Scousers.
It was the way they wrote it as if they wouldn't let them go home and forced them to go to Amsterdam
