Sorry what? No manager is going to be told that he will be replaced in 6 months. He’s just bitter he got the sack the day after the FA cup win, and rightly so.

But I have never heard of a manager being told he will be replaced in 6 months time.
The city manager before Pep?

I think we'll now know if this fraud was right or not. If we had lost Mourinho would have been 100% sacked tomorrow, but now that we won, and the guy said he would be said regardless of the result, we'll see.

This is the tweet the disgusting newspaper has come up with at end of match. I haven't bothered clicking but it will be awesome if this shite rag is banned from OT.

Terrible agenda. McDonnell is not all bad, whether he is reliable or not, but this is a reminder that the rest of the tossers who work for this rag are not worth our notice. I am not Jose in, but let the man be, he seems genuinely stressed.

In Jose's interview with talkSPORT after the match he said he received an SMS (not heard that term for years) from the board this morning saying not to believe the reports and do your job.

Not to read too much into it but, wouldn't you call over such a serious matter if you were genuinely behind him?

He was also asked if he think he'll be allowed to continue in his role and said 'ask him' referring to Richard Arnold.

If it is bullshit, in the boards eyes its not a serious matter. I am sure they talk more than they're letting on. Tired of the anti jose obsession now.

Hopefully the agreement for him to go is still in place, he talked some waffle about manhunts and whatnot after the game, he can fall on his sword in his role as Richard Kimble and say he's leaving for the good of the players as apparently this hunting is something he can handle but is to blame for their performances.

What a weird existence yours must be.
That was my exact thoughts too . Changing the topic ... I am not really happy with our situation but I found it interesting that on BT it was mentioned that Mou has the most winning % out of all Man Utd managers! Surprised by that.

Yeah impressive considering he’s had 2 and a bit years. Won’t be reported much though, doesn’t fit the narrative

He has only been here for 2 and a half years. Sir Alex was there for 26 years, so there is that. Surprised that Ernest Magnall was third though, I would have thought that Sir Matt would have been at No 3.

I'm reading that United have revoked McDonnell's pitchside pass as a result of his attempt to create drama. Serves him right, the sensationalist prick.

Are people actually upset that the club has revoked this clowns privilege (pitch side pass)?

Why? What an utterly absurd view to have.

It's about time the club did something like this. Hope he's the first of many to face this treatment.

What an interview that was from Gary. Glorious.

And if it's true, to come straight after that 3-2!

My stream died straight after Jose & Rafa shook hands so I didn't see Jose's walk off. Someone in the matchday thread said "he's gone, look at that walk"....I wish I could've seen it.

I have though just seen the post match interview and that's a Jose I haven't seen before. Telling or not we'll see.

For anyone who saw; did the fans give him a decent send off down the tunnel? Did he react to them at all?

Has Gnev done another interview or are you referring to the other one?

Who is upset?

You’d like to see someone lose their job based upon them reporting a story that apparently came from a source within the club? That’s not weird at all.
How is he loosing his job? Does he cut grass at Old Trafford?

And reporting and inventing shit is very often confused from “sport journalists”.

He’s not gonna lose his job anymore than Harry Harris did when he wrote United were offloading Cantona after that Palace game.

This journo is gonna lose a lot of credibility if this doesn’t happen.

Like no more job type.
I actually like David Mcdonell.I enjoyed reading his columns and his analysis was always spot on and sensible. But he’s definitely going to lose a lot of credibility now...

Journos can easily say "Sorry my 'sources' got it wrong" if what They said didn't happen. Their 'sources' can be anything: chopsticks, toilet paper, IKEA furniture, etc.

He’s still sticking to his guns though to be fair though isn’t he. The next few days will be interesting.

It doesn't say much though. As I said if Mourinho was sacked in May he would still coome and say his source was right.

If Mourinho is still managing come the Bridge game, this guy will be proven to be a fraud.
