There is, what appears to be a ghost or the killer from Scream, in the top right of the picture.

I can't spot who you are looking at.

As for the pic, I think the Spaniards tend to have a greater respect for the top players. Whereas in England most people just want to call them all cnuts. Which is cool too. Different cultures.

Second face from the top row counting from the right seems a bit white, I think that's what he's referring to.

There's somebody near the top right of the zoomable picture (about 5 in) wearing a white pudding bowl hat whose hands are raised in Munch's The Scream pose, I'm guessing that's the one.

Imaging adding him to our team now :o

It absolutely kills me. We'd probably have the most lethal team in the World by some distance.

(L) Ronaldo - van Persie - Rooney (R)
- - - - - - - - - - Kagawa

Even if (somehow) 3 of those 4 were having an off-game, any of the remaining 1 could step up and win the match on his own.

You'd have Carrick behind that front 4 as well, who on current form could probably set up an open goal with a pass from our own corner flag.

"False hope": Fergie denies talk of a cut-price Man United return for Cristiano Ronaldo

The Manchester United boss says he would love to have the winger back at Old Trafford, but that there is "nothing in it at all" after
The Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United transfer story rumbles on this weekend, with The Sun reporting that the Real Madrid star will take a massive pay cut to return to Old Trafford.

It's claimed that Ronaldo would accept half of the massive wage packet PSG are prepared to pay him as part of a double summer swoop that would also see Jose Mourinho moving to France.

However Sir Alex Ferguson insists that Manchester United have been given “no encouragement” to launch a bid to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.

The United boss has admitted that he would love to see the Portuguese winger in a red shirt once again, almost four years after selling him to Real Madrid for a world-record £80million.

With Ronaldo stalling over a new contract at the Bernabeu, there have been suggestions that United are looking at ways to finance his return.

But Ferguson *believes the 28-year-old’s *advisers are just using his admiration for the player as a bargaining tool.

Ronaldo *returns to Old Trafford for the first time since his departure when United meet Madrid in the *Champions League on Tuesday.

Ferguson said: “There hasn’t been anything to encourage me to think Cristiano would come back here.

“As far as I am aware, there is *nothing in it at all. Ronaldo has got two years left on his contract and it seems to me it is all part of the *negotiations that are going on about a new deal.

“Maybe his agent is playing the game.

“I think it is false hope. Cristiano will get a good reception. All our former players, especially the ones who have been great for this club, get a good *reception when they return.

“He is a better player now than he was when he was with us because he has matured. He is 28 and at the peak of his career.

“From 28 to 32, with the fitness Ronaldo has got, he never misses a game and is never injured. He will be at his absolute best.

“I’ve got a plan to stop him: it’s called a machete.

“Plan B is a machine gun!”

United forced a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Bernabeu and if *Ferguson’s team can eliminate the Spanish champions it will pile the pressure on Jose Mourinho.

The Special One has already *announced that he wants to return to the Premier League — and former club Chelsea have been mentioned as a possible destination.

Ferguson knows Mourinho well and doesn’t believe his rival will leave Madrid unless club president Florentino Perez sacks him.
“I don’t know what the reaction will be if Real don’t win the *Champions League,” said Ferguson. “They have that Spanish mentality which has seen them change their manager many times over the years. For Jose and Perez and the *supporters, the European Cup is going to be *really important this season.

“They last won it in 2002 and, *considering their history, 11 years is a long time. But it is the same with Mourinho as it is with Ronaldo.

“He’s also got two years on his *contract and everyone seems to be assuming that he will leave. But I heard the same thing last year.

“I don’t know how Real can replace someone like Mourinho.

“If you are making a reasonable assessment of his time at Real *Madrid then you have to take into account just how good Barcelona have been.

“They have been exceptional. They have won the European Cup twice and the Spanish title four or five times before Madrid won it last year.

“Would you really want to let a great coach like Jose Mourinho go?

“I don’t think Perez would want that. Jose has given me no indication he will be leaving.”

We should find a way to get Ronaldo to view this video many times over. He might become a bit emotional and not quite show up. Booing him typically fires him up for the game, but if he's felt loved he could be, hopefully, off his game a bit.

What a git, eh?

Of course he does. He's professional. And arrogant. Love him though.

meh. He's already scored at OT many times. pfft, he is being selfish here and if he wants to score, it should be in the form of an own goal...

He was given a great reception at Lisbon as well and he scored in both games against them.

Meh. His home is Madrid, who were his "childhood dream" and where he is spending the prime of his career.

I'd love if we keet him quite tomorrow night and Rooney/RVP outshine him. Few things will be better than knocking Ronaldo and Madrid out of the competition at OT.

Twat.

This sentiment I wholeheartedly agree with.

Im over feeling like this. He made his choice, he went, it's done. We've had far more success than they have since he joined them, and long may that continue. But I dont hold his decision against him personally.

Whereas I agree wholeheartedly with this post.

He has always been a twat. Amazing how he managed to antagonize such a huge chunk of Portuguese football fans (mainly Porto and Benfica fans of course) who utterly dislike him. In comparison with Figo for example, who I personally regard as a much bigger twat - it's just that CR is too naive PR-wise.

Have we? We've won the league once in 3 seasons without Ronaldo. They've also won league once in the same period. We've not really had 'far more success' than them.

Now you put it like that....

Well, we've done a lot better in the CL than they have. I overstated my point. But Im sure we are a happier set of fans than they are.

I wouldn't say far more, but we've had more 'success' in Europe (if you can call it that). The difference will come if we knock them out and if/when we win the league this season.

If anything, they've won the equivalent of a Premier League and FA Cup in Ronaldo's time, while we've only won a Premier League and League Cup. So they've technically had a slightly better time in regards to winning trophies.

Unless they knock us out and go on to win the Champions League, we'll have had what I would consider as a much greater success over the last four seasons (another league title and a potential two cups on top).

Funny really when we haven't lost the league by more than one point since he left, almost makes me think we'd have won it every year since with him here as just having him in your squad is probably worth a point or two. Obviously it never works like that but still.

I would be more surprised if he didn't want to score against us at OT.

The Stretty should hurl abuse and chant "Messi", while the East should sing Viva Ronaldo. Lets confuse the feck out of him.

The fans gotta boo him every time he's on the ball. Then they can cheer him afterwards like with Beckham.

They were knocked out a round before us in 2010. In 2011 we reached the final while they were knocked out in a semi but we got comprehensively beaten by the exact same team that knocked them out. If you swapped our semi oppositions I'm fairly certain it'd have been them in the final against Barcelona. Last season we were knocked out in groups while they reached a semi-final and were a penalty shootout win away from qualifying to a final.

Nah, we've not really been better in Europe either.

He has a habit of raising his game when booed. My suggestion is the best - we do both and his head will explode.

Last season really fecked up my calculations.

No play to his vanity. When he is near chant overly familiar and complimentary songs at him, wear Ronaldo masks also when in ear shot read out facts about him. He'll be so amazed at himself and confused he'll play terrible.
