has he always wanted to work under moyes?

Somehow i don't think he'll be coming back now.

No, just no. What you have to understand is how much Ronaldo loves Sir Alex. He will not want to see the club slide backwards so he will definately sign with us now, just to help carry on the winning tradition.

And now back to reality, while knowing that Ronaldo coming back was a possibility I always felt is was very low in probability. Sir Alex retiring does make it seem even less likely.

Yeah I think working with Fergie again would have probably been one of the strongest incentives for Ronnie to come back here, now that this is gone I doubt we will see much happen in that regard unless he is very keen on playing the Fellaini role for us as the man behind the striker winning the long balls Rio and Vidic are hoofing up the field.

The minute Moyes is announced any chance, however remote, of Ronaldo coming back dies, along with any hopes on players like Bale, Reus, Gundogan etc, it'll be knuckle up time, I expect some beef added.

It is so on.

Poor Daily Fail. Didn't get the scoop on Fergie's retirement so resorted to this rubbish.

It's absurd that they can be wrong so often and so spectacular and yet still keep their jobs.

Not sure about the Ronaldo part but every paper in the morning saying that Rooney is off.

Ronaldo celebrated today's goal at Real Madrid by beating his chest (crest side) and screaming "I'M STAYING HERE!" in Spanish. End of.

Apparently.

He said he was staying with United the night before he jetted off to complete his Madrid move

Yup, the Ronaldo rumours are totally bullshit unfortunately. Rooney one's not so much. Probably why we've been so heavily linked to Lewandowski

Perhaps Ferguson's retirement is what has sealed this. There might have been a tiny chance of him making a return but with Ferguson gone it's also gone.

I can't fathom why you gimps go on and on about Ronaldo coming back to United.

It's never going to happen. Madrid's his dream club, and even if he did leave, he's a self-improvement type, not the sort to go backwards. He's look for a new challenge.

Hopefully you're as wrong about this as were about O'Neill being the next United manager back in 2005 ;)

feck this shit. Honestly, I couldn't care if Ronaldo is coming back. Sir Alex Ferguson has retired.

I care, I shook on a bet to buy my mate a night with Angela White.

So the cnut better not be coming anywhere near Old Trafford in the offseason.. Any time after that and I won't be out of pocket 10 grand.

Tell us more, tell us more.

Did Plech wanted O'Neil as SAF successor, or did he just thought that he will be next United manager.

With SAF gone, there is basically no chance that Ronaldo is coming back now. Even before that the actual chance of it happening was slim, it was only because of blind hope that people half believed the rumours to start with

There was never any hope of us signing him in the first place even if Fergie did not retire. There is no way Madrid are going to sell him to anyone when he is at his absolute peak. He is only reason Madrid are even close to Barcelona right now in La Liga. He always loved Madrid and it was his boyhood club he wanted to play for. We dont have the money to get him back and pay his wages and even if we did there is no way we are going to splunk £60m+ on one player. I just think United fans have always wanted to think we can get him back. We have always liked the idea of him coming back home. People just need to get to grips with the idea that he is never coming back to Manchester.

Mendes? He manages a shit load of players that are linked to our club and that we have, could have been to talk about anything. Isn't he Nani's agent too?

Could also have been to talk about Mourinho, to find out whether he has any Scottish heritage.
