Whatever happened to innocent until proven otherwise?

But when Liverpool showed support for Suarez before he was found guilty, they were idiots, insensitive and defending a racist

Like I said, I'm not saying Ronaldo is guilty. Just saying that it's lingering in mind what he might have done (very graphic stuff) and that he paid her off to settle the case (not a good sign for somoene claiming to be innocent). There are factors which doesn't make it look good for him.

I think it was mostly that they defended him even after he was found guilty by the FA, so not quite as comparable. Also that he was accused of being a racist, and the club went all dressed in matching t-shirts supporting him. People are not going overboard to support Ronaldo. Not comparable. Suarez could bite someone and they would still defend the hyenah.

Anyone reckon Herrera was saved against Chelsea to do a job against Ronaldo today?

If we win it would be such a boost. If.

What Liverpool did after the decision was made to ban Suarez was rightfully disgraceful (the tshirt nonsense), but I remember plenty of people slamming Dalglish and Liverpool for releasing statements defending Suarez right after Evra's incident was reported; same criticism faced by Juve for coming out with a statement defending Ronaldo after the Der Speigel article.

I don't see how the two aren't comparable (pre tshirt incident). While, again, I'm not saying Ronaldo is guilty, you have to maintain some respect for the severity of the accusation and it's societal consequences before publically defending Ronaldo (or Suarez); same standard for Liverpool and Juve.

Feck rolling out the red carpet for him. The club is fighting atm. Screw giving someone that left with his best years still ahead of him a hero's welcome.
Hope Young clatters him.
Finally someone normal here.

What? You havent OFF YOURSELF yet, you fecking Scum? Joking!!!
How dare you?
P.S. What does "grab screenshot" means?
P.S.2 what the heck did you do to that wonderful, charmimg, eloquent, emotional guy, for him to react like that? Can't find it, hate when I miss meltdowns.

I took a screenshot of the nasty posts he made just before he deleted them. He just kept coming back for more even after deleting his own posts though!

This is the post that triggered him: https://www.redcafe.net/threads/cri...-available-at-ot.439948/page-42#post-23211469

I’ll be breaking stuff at home in a rage if tonight turns into a combination of enduring another fecking egocentric non-celebration of a goal scored against us and fans making more noise singing the name of an opposition player than they do singing about anyone in our own starting line-up. Feck that shit from a great height...

I like the guy, but hope he has his worst ever game today and the next fixture as well.

But his current form and our defence right now makes that outcome very unlikely.

How has he been? All I know is he has a 0.5 gpg ratio

He’s been doing quite well, his overall game has been better since he broke his duck and scored his first goal.

whats the tactics like? Get the ball to him ASAP or get him on the end of things?

I too haven't watched him mate. Just going by whatever my friend who is a Juventus fan says.

He said the same thing @SirAF said, that he's more involved in the build up these days.

Yep. If they wanna give a cheer when they read his name from the line ups, that's fine. Definitely no more than that.

Once the whistle goes, he's an opposing player. I'll cheer louder if someone goes through him. I don't give a toss if he whips his shirt off and shows us all his abs after he scores. He hasn't played for us in nearly a decade.

However, I've seen a few United fans on Insta deliberating over which of their Ronaldo shirts they're going to wear, so it's most probably going to be The Ronaldo Show.

Ugh.

Once the game starts, I don't think it is possible for any United fan to cheer opposition player or team. You might still be in awe by what Ronaldo could pull off, but beyond that I doubt if anyone could be happy about Ronaldo scoring/assisting a goal

Should be acknowledged and applauded just once, then move on to game mentality.

I hope we shut him down like we do to Hazard or salah last time.

Having played Saturday 90 minutes without Manzukic today don't expect him to have a good game tbh. By the way not just him, Juventus as a whole will be happy if they take 1 point today.

Hope he scores an own goal tonight. Then we really sing Viva Ronaldo!

Easily Juventus' best player, his overall play is the best I've seen in years - probably since 2013/14.
Easily best is too much. More involved with the team? Yes. More influential than Pjanic or Cancelo so far? Don't think its necessarly the case.

He even mentioned in the presser he is still adapting to the League. Quite normal, but I want to see how he reacts today 72 hours after their last match or if he will play as a 9. His best games have been coming from the left.

.
Alright I wouldn't say Ronaldo is head and shoulders above his teammates at this moment like Messi (sorry couldn't think of anyone else right now...), but I'd say he is the best performing Juve player so far this season.

I can see why we weren't interested...….pffft.

Nowhere near the best player in the world based on that performance, that’s for sure.
