Nurse bell end
If he does end up at the plastics then that’s him done as a United legend.
The fact he wants to go to City is enough for me to damage his reputation with the club. Whether he goes or not, damage is done
If it was a case of we said no and then he is shopping himself around that's very different. But it seems like he wants City only
Really? We have the team in place to match his ambition? If he wants to win another CL trophy we have the team for that? Delusional.United should do everything possible to bring the United legend back. The team in place already will match his ambition to win everything. He will also do so at a big and proper club.
Ronaldo to City would encapsulate everything wrong with this City PSG timeline
Not at all. It’s almost as if people completely forget agents use other rich clubs to get their client a better deal elsewhere when it’s not United being used. It's not a fact though, is it?
What you mean to say is that you haven’t watched a single game he has played since he’s been there.
Absolute, unmitigated bollocks.
We need to stop passing to Ronaldo during build up
Those who watch La Liga knew the player we were getting when we signed him. Ronaldo is a fantastic finisher, but this version of him does not add much to build-up play. It’s up to Juventus to build the team around Ronaldo so he can score. Chiesa was a very good addition and he compliments Ronaldo well, but other than him...
This is one of the most fundamental problems in our team, and a big reason why our build-up play is so poor. Ronaldo takes too much time on the ball, he is too easily dispossessed, and his dribbles rarely lead to anything these days. Someone with a lot of emotional intelligence needs to sit Ronaldo down and tell him that he can no longer be involved in our build-up play. He needs to change his game and become a full-time poacher. He hasn't lost his eye for goal yet.
I don’t understand why he hadn’t made a full transformation as a #9 already. He’s simply not good enough on the ball to play outside the box.
He isn’t good enough on the ball to warrant a free role in attack. He should be in the box at all times. The only thing he is elite at nowadays is finishing.
He can't play anywhere else except in the box. As far as his general gameplay is concerned, it's eroded quickly almost to the point that he looks like a washed up player. If he wants to extend his high level career by a further two years, he should see less and less of the ball and focus mostly on his off the ball movement and his aerial prowess in the box. It's embarrassing seeing him try to dribble and do those stupid stepovers against sub standard players only to get dispossessed comfortably. He's pretty much a Luca Toni lite right now and hope he comes to terms with it.
If there are stats of highest turnovers among Juventus players, I'm sure he'll be #1 on the list. He shouldn't participate in build up play anymore or as often as he does and hope his fanboys don't bring instances of that odd cross or pass which happens in like once in a bluemoon. Over these past few months, lots of dangerous counter attacks have originated from either Ronaldo making a misplaced pass or getting dispossessed easily. It was funny to see him getting bullied by Torino players yesterday who found it so easy to steal the ball off him.
Stop telling us how he is supposedly our best player and we're nothing without a 36 year old player. One of the reasons he's leading our goal charts by a big margin, other than him being the designated penalty taker and best finisher on the team, is his constant demand of the ball at all times in good and bad positions. And when it's time for him to provide a pass to an open teammate, he opts for a stepover and a blocked shot.
He is still a good striker/poacher but there’s no denying his selfishness weights down on the rest of the team, also his overall contribution during a game despite his goals or asissts also always involves several giveaways that result in counters for the opposition or several attempted blocked shots that could have been a better pass in the build-up... not even sure what to think anymore, he is great and all but the experiment had overall failed and Juventus as a team has continuously regressed competitively instead of taking that last leap towards conquering Europe, cumulated together with the fact we now lost even the Scudetto and are even unsure atm of a top4 finish there’s probably no better time to move on from whatever it is we are witnessing this days and hopefully build a real team capable of competing for major trophies again starting from next season.
Ronaldo passing
aimlessly. Our attacks are dying the second the ball reaches CR.
Deep Lying Forward is his best position. He has a decent shot from inside the box with his right foot. Calling him a poacher is ridiculous. Ronaldo on the other hand has regressed to the point where he can do about as much as Icardi with the ball at his feet.
Don't pass to Ronaldo unless he has a shot on goal. He's useless when he's not scoring

Yes, precisely, thank you.The great player we saw at United and Madrid is not so great anymore. You can clearly see age and effects of many years of physical endeavours have caught up with him. He is only good in the penalty area these days. Basically playing from his vast experience and positional know-how in the penalty area. Personally, I wouldn't care less if went to City or even Liverpool.
United have a better chance with CL than with the league. The squad depth may not be as it should be, but the starting eleven can challenge any team, more so the so called big teams. They won't park the bus, and the pace will hurt them.Really? We have the team in place to match his ambition? If he wants to win another CL trophy we have the team for that? Delusional.
Most of those takes were probably reactionary and during games where he probably didn’t play too great (they do happen every now and then). To reply to this -
Why would a Discord group chat, involving Juventus fans from across the world, show up on Google search?
I also have no idea why you're so rude and confrontational, especially in light of being incredibly wrong. But okay, one's ignorance should be corrected, here's a selection of quotes from English speaking Juventus (Juventuz) forum, knock yourself out with the search function -
etc etc etc etc etc , there's plenty more, it's a common theme.
I suggest you stop spouting "absolute, unmitigated bollocks". Some of us ACTUALLY watch Juventus and have the brain cells to process what's going on.
Ronaldo is still a superb #9. He has the movement, the sharpness, a tremendous aerial threat and the finishing too. But the fact is is that last season, his game outside of the box deteriorated significantly. Was dreadful.
I cringe when I see our social media pages post about him, which happens quite regularly. This guy bailed on us at 23 after calling himself a slave. I have respect for him but people should have some pride.
Look I support Ronaldo for 18 years already, it doesn’t matter who he played for, I will still cheer for him whenever he scored. And of course if they win the league I won’t be happy about it, but if they failed to win the league while Ronaldo scored a lot for them, I will be very happy. This is so weird and revolting. You will feel happy every time our rival scores? I just cannot wrap my head around this. You are more of a Ronaldo fan than a Man Utd fan and honestly you're better off supporting a club Ronaldo plays at. The case for Denis Law and Peter Schmeichel could be made at that time was City was a much smaller club so they were not our direct rival and threat so we didn't really care but Ronaldo moving to City, our direct rival for the title will definitely be a betrayal.

That's unfair. Mendez is just doing what an agent does and whoring around their players. He gets an offer from City, it brings in PSG or United to make an offer etc. It just makes him more valuable. If he moves then that's another thing. The fact he wants to go to City is enough for me to damage his reputation with the club. Whether he goes or not, damage is done

Firstly, I'm talking about last season only. His first season, including his all round play, was very good for Juventus. His build up play is awful NOW.Most of those takes were probably reactionary and during games where he probably didn’t play too great (they do happen every now and then).
Bit nobody who watched his first season at Juve (his best in terms of general play) would describe him as this limited/poacher type player who is absolutely diabolical in general play and build up. Even up to last season his general play was decent (although obviously not his peak level self).
btw this was from the same forum just recently:
“If Man City dont want to pay minimum 30m for him, its their to lose. If the mentioned 150m for Kane is true. If he will get 5 years contract, it means 30m ammortization per year. Yes, you got striker for 5 years, but i think there wont be a club who will pay him to transfer him from Man City which means Kane will play until his retired or contract expired. If Kane flop or dont deliver, he will warm their bench and burden their wage bill for several years. With Ronaldo, they get 1-2 year minimum high performance
With Ronaldo, they got a better player even for now. Better all facets in the game, better mentality, better fitness/injury record. City will have a problem if they can't get Kane. They really need a striker. And if they didnt get Kane, they will have problem to win EPL as Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool look strong this season”
I don’t cheer City goals which are not scored by Ronaldo. If your son played for City and scored for them one day, would you cheer for him?If you cheer City goals then you’re a City fan. There’s no way of hiding that, it’s not goals but you’ll be hoping he plays well etc.
They didn’t join our direct rivals for the title. Ronaldo will be actively putting himself in the way of Utd and success and he can get fecked if he does.

Cristiano Ronaldo has no chance of winning another Balon d'Or again no matter where he plays. He has 2 seasons left to add another CL and Balon d'Or so not many options where he can achieve it: basically just Real, maybe 3 PL clubs and PSG but how that would work when they already have Messi? And to be honest, Ronaldo on a 2-year deal is better for City than Kane on 5+1 for £150m. But again, I think Ronaldo will stay and City play another season with a false 9.
The fact he wants to go to City is enough for me to damage his reputation with the club. Whether he goes or not, damage is done

Not really. I won’t cheer his goal which stop us from winning title. But not all the goals he scored would win City title anyway. So in hypotetical situation you would cheer Cristiano goal which could prevent United from taking the title.
Why are people so surprised ? Ronaldo knows he has to do something drastic next season as Messi will most likely be a UCL contender and Ronaldo won't. Can see Ronaldo join City as his personal accomplishments have always been put over anything else in terms of importance for him. If Barca were contending I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at Barca either.

Hypothetically speaking, of course you could also choose to blame him for scoring for City, and not giving him food as punishment.
No player in City’s history has ever won the Balon Dor nor the CL. City is the last place to go if he were chasing that. Why are people so surprised ? Doesn’t mean they have to take OUR goal scorer!Because they would want to replace Ronaldo with some proven goalscorer. Duh.
I don’t cheer City goals which are not scored by Ronaldo. If your son played for City and scored for them one day, would you cheer for him?
Exactly. Not knocking Ronaldo but that's how he is. His personal accomplishments always hold weight over any loyalty to any club. Shouldn't really bother you if you're a United fan anyway as he isn't a United legend. He's no Rooney.Oh aye, If Barcelona was a serious option and they had a great chance to win the CL I think Ronaldo would be fine with signing for them too.
I don't think he has any real loyalty to any club.
This is silly.Cristiano Ronaldo has no chance of winning another Balon d'Or again no matter where he plays.
Ronaldo isn't your fecking son!
City and United are fighting a title for example. Every Ronaldo goal would help them be closer to the title, would you still cheer his goals?I could only speak for myself, but I would still cheer for him when he scores, except against us.
Anyway he is not the first United legend moving to City, Denis Law and big Pete did before him, their legendary status didn’t really diminish even after the played for them (at least for me).
Yes they haven't but let's be real they are a lot closer to winning than us or most other teams. If previous success is indictive of potential to win a ucl than maybe he should join Nottingham Forest. I mean they have as many ucls as Juve.No player in City’s history has ever won the Balon Dor nor the CL. City is the last place to go if he were chasing that.
