Ronaldo is full of shit and his fan-boys can can do one, quite frankly. What sort of Homelander bullshit is this? Appearing on a live interview mid-season no less with United positively looking healthier than they have for a long time only to use the platform to cause as much friction and division as humanly possible. "Oh but he spoke out against things which we agree with!". For his sake. It isn't about the club per-se, but rather how the club just inconveniently impacts his personal pursuit of whatever the feck massages his fragile ego.

I swear. If Ronaldo was Dahmer, some of you lot would be handjobbing him whilst he's cannibalising you.

We aren’t even 13 points off, he had this saved thinking United drew v Fulham.
Unlucky
They're top and suddenly it's like they've been the top dogs all the while, not a banter club they've been for years now.

It'll be nice to once again have time to enjoy a decent result without it becoming the Ronaldo Show soon afterwards.

You mean you didn't enjoy getting a result and then pundits saying, LeTs TaLk AbOuT rOnAlDo?

I think a lot of the posts are hypocritical considering all he’s doing in the interview is criticising UTD which is what all of us ever do on the Caf. Piers Morgan is his Caf and he’s entitled to it imo.
Are any of us currently playing for the team on 500k a week?

He has 6 months on his contract left right?

We should just offer a mutual termination and get him the feck out

I’m fairly certain the players can’t wait to see the back of him.
He fecks them over every single time there should be a massive air of positivity and optimism around the club. His actions after Spurs and yesterday after Garnacho are scandalous.
So you have young Alejandro who looks up to him and on the evening everyone should admire his late winner and his huge talent his idol drops that bombshell of an interview. Puts things into perspective.

This interview is Ronaldo's "get rid of me plea to the club." If I was incharge, I'd tell him to buy out his contract otherwise he is just frozen out. Once his contract is over, he can feck off to wherever.

He mentions in the interview that Madrid treated him like a king. Truth is that even there, he said they disrespected him because they did not increase his salary.

And to made matters worse, Real Madrid's success has continued without him while he has failed at Juve and at United.

In addition two of his teammates have won the ballon d'or since he left. To this day, he has not congratulated Benzema showing how petty and selfish he is.

This never usually happens in football, but I think the club might seriously consider it. With his contract running out in July, if he wants the club to buy out the full value of his contract, they could well just put him on gardening leave until that happens.

No doubt he'll negotiate a slightly smaller severance though.

Our boy Lisandro will look after him, no worries. And with the world cup and him being Argentinian, I'm sure he'll find another GOAT to adore

Just want to see that he has been terminated.
In the real world, he would be sued for cause.

I could accept him criticising the facilities, rangnick, even the executives.

Saying he doesn’t respect the manager is a low blow though.

Why did he anyway? What’s the context?

I kind of rate SAF a bit less for trying to bring him here. we might have haaland if ronaldo went to city aswell.

The context here is the manger has told him to fight for his place.

How much do you reckon it’d cost us to terminate? £10m? £20? Either way it’s worth it for the team - this is on the Glazers and Ole, Ten Hag shouldn’t be paying for their sins

Of course players cant wait till he feks of. He's like a colleague who always talks shit about everyone, including the boss, comes late to work and leaves early and acts like he's doing a wonderful job all the while everyone knows he's a hacker.

I see his defenders giving it the “but, but, that nasty bastard Ten Hag gave him assurances about playing time before the season started.” Well, yes, he probably did. But little did Ten Hag know that Ronaldo would be utter turd, not just in front of goal, but his touch, pace, power, presence and all round play have deserted him.

Ten Hag gave him his last chance in recent weeks and Ronaldo blew it. He will stink out Qatar.

Even Ralf comments are awful. Ralf was his manager and remember when he was subbed he made a mess about it and was in the starting lineup every game after. It doesnt bode well for any club which would be willing to take him cause he's sending a message he doesnt respect any manager.

The timing was planned. Piers Morgan confirmed it already on TalkSPORT this morning. He said Ronaldo wanted it released just before leaving for the World Cup.

This was the “I will speak soon” event Ronaldo was harping on about.

Morgan refusing to say when it was recorded is also quite telling. He just kept saying recently. I don't think it was all that recent.

It's within the last month, since Spurs was the 13th October.

I think it's within the last week honestly.

He's insulting the current manager and for what? Because he's been expected to perform at a certain standard that he's failed to reach every single game he's played. And he's had plenty of chances.

He has nothing to blame ETH other than his own delusions.
He's insulting his teammates as well, including ones he played with at Madrid. He's an egotistical knobhead.

Let's be honest, could anyone really see this ending any differently, it's just taken that 'swamp dweller' Morgan to unblock the drain.

Big mistake in returning (never go back and all that...) for Cristiano, 'road to hell paved with good intentions' etc., the Club he came back to was not the same as the one he left and more importantly the team he re-joined was not the team he left and he wasn't the player he was when he left.

ETH has to be 'the manager' otherwise his authority gets shot to pieces.

CR has had a lot of personal sadness to deal with, which has no doubt heightened his frustration and overall mentality, but it was a mistake from the beginning, which was always going to end in 'tears before bedtime'.

Cannot see any way back from this... even if he starts scoring again, I'm afraid the fat lady has sung!

He's literally doing a Homelander

Glad it's right before the world cup, Portugal's problem now. Can player-coach them to his hearts content to prove to the world he's still good, then get fecked off on 1st Jan to whoever is thick enough to pay him.

Hoping to see a permanent Ten Hag banner at OT soon.

He always was, in the CL finals it was players like Ramos and Bale that scored and when he made it 3-1 he would run off like he just won it.

Only way to get some fans back on his side is to publicly call out the Glazers in the full interview. Damage Control.

Contrary to those saying this interview is going to cause friction and de-stabilise the club, I think his departure after this will bring the squad closer together. I think it makes ETHs job easier too, assuming we can get a half decent ST in the winter window.

Started under the pre-season, was all about him then too instead of our new beginning under ETH.

The best scenario is for Portugal's coaching staff to be brave and drop Ronaldo from the team on the basis of his form. It's not correct to wish Portugal to suffer due to Ronaldo.
I disagree. The amount of Portugal fans that have come on here and shat on us cos of out treatment of Ronaldo, they're going to see what we've been taking about the last 2 seasons in HD this world cup and they deserve the inevitable tears, he wants to play the next Euros as well, by then he would have ruined his legacy with them as well.

Not only that, often he wouldn't celebrate goals cause someone else other than him scored it.
