Good on Real. You can't let players do whatever the hell they want and then back them up regardless. If they give in to it who knows what's next? Teams wearing t-shirts supporting players that racially abuse or gnaw on opponents? I'm glad they are setting a precedent and refusing to pay it.

If this is really the case I can't see him staying. It's a lot of money, even for the money he's earning. He'd need a move to get some decent pile of cash (PSG signing bonus) to pay this.

It's really not that difficult though when the ball is chipped up for you. You don't see it that often because you'll rarely get it dinked up into space, behind you and in the box. Not because it's really hard to do an overhead kick.
Bale's took far more to get it into the net.
Even Rooney's was harder to get on the end of, although nowhere near as cleanly struck.

PSG are going to rescue him if this is indeed the situation, Florentino seems to have his sights set on finally signing Neymar and this could be the perfect storm to sell his (once) golden goose.

Not sure it’d be a great deal considering what Neymar would cost, as great as he is he can’t replicate the sheer volume of goals Ronaldo scores for Real. Plus they lack a prolific striker in the side, for example Cavani scored 41 goals for PSG this season. It’s bit of a meme as people only see him as a player who taps in goals but it’d take a lot more than 1 player to fill Ronaldo boots.
Where they value Ronaldo is anyone’s guess though so it’ll be an interesting summer with so many big names apparently on the move.

As per popular rumour the way Real made the contract and not changing it as per Spanish law changes, caused CR7 to be caught as a tax evader. CR7 believes Real is to blame for not informing his party and making appropriate changes.
He believes the fault is with Madrid.
The tax law in question came into effect after Madrid renewed his contract in 2011/12. He feels Madrid should have educated him and updated his contract as relating to the impact of those new laws.
His case is weak but in simple terms, he's saying the contract he signed ended up being worth less that what was agreed and the club did not let him know.
