If he want to leave. Go for Patrick Schick from Bayer Leverkusen. A really good and skill full goalscorer. Really close to complete and top level.
Schick can hold up. 180 angle turn around and still have good ball control. Not much more you can ask for a CF/Striker. And Schick is really good in the air too.

Schick now how to hit the ball correctly. Both with feets and head.

I really enjoy his skill and football. Visual tell it better than words. So enjoy this video clip:

Schick will both solve short and long time CF hole to fill. Both short and long time solution. On his best age. 26 this year.

But best recommendation. Of a striker not playing for top clubs in Europe.

60 mill euro + adds on Schick should be fair price. 60 -70 mill euro.

Vlahovic to Juventus over 80 mill euros

Nunez to Liverpool over 80 mill euros

60-70 mill for Schick is a fair price for both parts.

In my opinion. Clearly better than Sebastien Haller from Ajax. In all aspects of football. Skill and finish.

Clearly good enough for any top 4 clubs in premier league. Really good teammates behind him and feed him. Give him top service. This boy will score 20 goals each season. Include the penalties it will be easily. Include penalties. His realistic target shall be around 25 goals.

+ Quick head and feets
+ Top determination
+ Composure, calm and really good with the ball
+ A really good finisher. With both head and feets.

My best recommendation.

Lot of people have been recommending this guy, so I'd like a counterpoint.

Why shouldn't we be in for him?

Bad news for you - https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bunde...yer-leverkusen-contract-through-to-2027-20100

He isn't leaving for 70-80mill with 5 years left on his newly-signed contract I am afraid. Would also love him here though.

As much as I don't like Bayern's monopoly on the German league, I do admire the way they run their club if that report is true: 'Ronaldo is a legend, one of the greatest of all time, but not part of our philosophy, so we don't want'.

Over to you Chelsea. They must be the last club available to him at this stage, unless Real Madrid suddenly get nostalgic or Sporting spring a surprise.

He is 37 soon to be 38, I don't see it as this difficult decision that only their german tradition could make!

I don't know the reality behind the scenes but the fact is Ronaldo is at an age where any player is a huge risk. The decline, when it hits you, will hit fast.

From a purely Ronaldo perspective, I think trying to chase Champions league is silly. It's a world cup year. He really should focus on playing a rotational role for Man United along with a young striker so he can be ready for Portugal. I do think he fits Chelsea's profile really well but is it really an upgrade? What if Chelsea has another Ole season 3? At least at United his legacy is somewhat protected.

So this move really doesn't make a sense to me from Ronaldos perspective. The only thing that would is going to sporting and retiring there.

Does he really need a recommendation? He's one of the best striker prospects in Europe after all.
Scored more goals than Haaland last year and also was the top scorer at EURO 2020...

Has a long term contract though, I doubt he'd be available for double-digits.

He's 26, to be fair

Nobody wants you Ronnie. Just return to Manchester and start preseason. You'll need it.

So still 11 years of good footy left before he goes on a strike and demands a transfer.

Yeah, I had him around 24 like Nkunku to be fair :)
Same, was surprised that he entered peak years already. While he's pretty good, I don't think he'd be worth the money required to buy him considering his long contract

Why would we let him go for free?
Because he will kick up an almighty stink the likes of which will not be worth the negative publicity.
they say there’s no player bigger than the club but I think people are mad if they don’t think Ronaldo has incredible player power.

I wonder how many Insta, Facebook and Twitter followers United will lose if Ronaldo does infact leave.

I'm sure there might be people to correct me on this but I feel Bayern are always a club that puts football first over just about any other interest and they never seem to want those signings. I'm not sure that they would have wanted him three or four years ago either.

I think you made a great point about the World Cup year. You'd think that rather than Champions League football the World Cup would be Ronaldo's main interest and the nice fact for him that he'll be playing just once a week if he stays at United as there'll be no champions league group distractions. This could actually help him have a great World Cup.

This saga actually feels a bit sad for everyone involved and it didn't need to be this way.

I am really baffled. Why is there general talk of him just joining Chelsea because they seem to be the only club interested and ignore the fact we'd have a say? He is not a free agent

I 100% agree with this ... even if Ronaldo wins the CL with Bayern/Chelsea this season, 60-70% of the fans will still say Messi is the better player. For Ronaldo to turn this around, especially when fans look back 10 years down the line, he needs to contribute towards Portugal winning the WC. He could legitimately be called the greatest then, at least equal to Pele.

Things aren't so black and white. While leaving to a rival will be less than ideal, he is getting old and this could be a great "return" on our investment to offload a 37 year old.

But that's fine if we get a good return. But the way people are making it is he has to now just go to Chelsea when they haven't even made an official approach. I would like to think we'd get a good fee cos they are a direct rival - 37 years old or not

Bayern can have him for cheaper but Chelsea should have to fork out a fair bit

That's it then, we are stuck with him. I was really hoping he leaves.
Would love it if he expected clubs to be falling at his feet. He's now realised nobody is wanting to bite and he's gonna have to pretend it was all press talk.

Stick him in the reserves and only bring him out for the Europa.

That's Bayern and PSG out...he's gonna be served a healthy dose of humble pie this summer when Tuchel makes it clear he doesn't fit his plans the same way Lukaku didn't

Absolutely no surprise there. Bayern know better and PSG have enough clowns at their circus.

His only shot at a top CL club would be Chelsea (still think unlikely but with this new owner, you'll never know) and AC Milan (if he takes a dramatic wage cut that is, don't know if they're interested).

Not much of a market for a man that we ideally need to start every game this season.

He can sulk as much as he wants. He's got feck all bargaining power if nobody else wants him. It's not like the fans are going to really back him if he decides to have a strop after pulling this shit a second time.

Best thing for him to do if he stays is if he doesn't act like a moody cnut.

The worst thing is I think we’ll just take him back with open arms when nobody wants him and our fans will scream viva Ronaldo until they’re red in the face again

Some fans would say he rejected PSG, Real, City, Chelsea, Pool, Bayern, Barca to stay at United for his love of United.. said similar stuff last year..

Which is why I'm very surprised this was made public by his camp.

Still, he'll likely start nearly every game he's fit for us next year if we don't sell.

Basically this. No-one is going to pay him his 500k a week. Obviously he aint happy that hes down to 360k a week due to the 25% paycut the entire squad took for missing CL qualification.

I dont see Chelsea buying him as he doesnt fit tuchels system. Napoli cant pay the wages and bayern dont want him. He's got nowhere to go unless he goes to MLS.

We must be realistic, as much as I would love if we stick him to the reserve, but that is not going to happen for a 500K/week player.

The ones that dont matter? You think those guys did anything but like on social media? Put Ron on the reserves and take the bill.

If he can't get another club and does a 180 and comes back, we'll see some posters celebrating like we won the CL and the club will make every excuse under the sun for him. It'll be cringeworthy and I'll struggle watching him in our team though, I just want a completely fresh start.

That's not going to happen either with the allegations. I believe he was cleared, but the Americans don't forget.

Surely he won't kick up a fuss like this without having offers on the table, otherwise he'll look embarrassing by the end of the window if he ends up staying with us due to lack of offers.
