Says a lot when the thread is full of talk about how popular the guy is
Not even closeI think it is Kylie Jenner who is again one of the most famous people alive, then Dwayne Johnson who again is pretty high.
I think the distance he is ahead is pretty significant though and the fact he is either top or very high in all different types of platform. Especially the fact that he is the highest in both Insta and Facebook as they are the most far apart in demographics which is why Zuckerberg brought Instagram.
I am still struggling to see what is ludicrous when he is so high on the only metrics we actually have available to us. I honestly think if you lined up all 7.9 billion people on earth and showed them a picture of Tom Cruise and then a picture of Ronaldo and asked them to name the person, if you think more would name Tom Cruise you underestimate how much the Internet and it's influencers are shared in pop culture actually is.
My opinion that Ronaldo is one of the most famous people alive?
What can I do if people dislike the truth?
Why would Frenkie be a toxic presence? Frenkie is also a player that fits exactly what we need and address clear issues. No idea what your point is.So will FdJ also be toxic, do you think? He will probably expect the other players to play to his advantage, he'll probably see himself as a better player with higher standards, he might point out others could play better rather than being sooooo concerned about their feelings.
Good thing Roy Keane isn't around.
I haven't heard that Ronaldo blamed other for the 4-0 loss, btw. You might take that as a given after that game....
Not even close
Ok I'm in.
Tom Cruise has been famous for nearly 40 years.
His most recent film made over a billion.
By what metric (apart from Instagram followers) is Ronaldo more famous than Tom Cruise?

Justin Bieber isn’t nearly as popular as he was 10 years ago. If he was he wouldn’t have less than half of Ronaldo’s social media followers. Most of his fans have grown up and he isn’t that popular with the current young generation.

It’ll be Martinez’ fault or Ten Hags, maybe Bruno’s who knows but a lot of fans will fall into line to hate whoever is Satan of the week/ month.Well right now its Ronaldo being angry / mean thats the reason for the team being bad. Whats going to be the excuse when he leaves and they are still shite?
It's that simple and I genuinely don't know how anyone think that it's not obvious. The only people that may not know him are literal kids.
Followers on every social media platform, internet clicks, google searches, advertising revenue.
Do you think more people watched top gun than watched Ronaldo in any of his champions league finals?
He has his own brand of pants
Tom should have cashed in on that after Risky Business.
Missed opportunity.
Even then when I seen Maverick there were literally little (annoying) kids in the theater.
I don't get the "Football is more accessible than movies" argument either because I've lived in socially (economically) deprived areas and there was far more access to old movies than new football.
Footballers are famous, Ronaldo is very famous but he isn't more accessible to poor areas than a Hollywood star.
What the hell is going on in here

Oh right, fair enough then.Hey - it's important to establish who the most famous person in the world is.
(Actually - it is.)
(Also - it's clearly more fun than discussing exactly how far past his prime Ronaldo is.)
I doubt it though I think he's definitely more popular since joining Arsenal.Oh right, fair enough then.
Surely the answer is Jesus ?

Dead-Shmead - give me £100 and 2 hours and I'll get you one of each, easy.Yep - it's Jebus.
Or Elvis.
(Some people claim they're dead, though - so there's that).

Pope you say, Francis or Nick?I'd say if you forced people to name the pope by name he'd be out of the discussion. If they just had to say "pope" then yeah, definitely. Ronaldo definitely has some competition, too. Messi/Beckham/Travolta/Beyonce/rimaldo etc.
I'd say the most famous people would be Putin, Elon Musk, Dwayne Johnson, Trump, Kardashian, etc. Ronaldo is of course in the top 20 something.
If we want to build a serial winner team, then we must buy top-top, ruthless, arrogant, and players who don't whine around demanding players. Obviously, Ronaldo is not happy with the current squad, he knows this squad will never win the champions league or league title. He has only 2,3 years left in his career. I think some players take his demands personally, and other players take his demand positively. I've been in a similar situation in a mid-size start-up company, It causes lot-of things. Many people naturally feel down around someone who's demanding better performance, and some people get motivated. I suspect there's already separation between players in the dressing room.
I'm afraid letting Ronaldo go won't fix anything, players will always feel inferior and blame each other when performance is much lower than the expectation. Most fans, Ralf, ETH, and some of our players know at least half of the first 11 must be changed to achieve something. Our problem is beyond Ronaldo, our real problem is there are players who feel they deserve a spot, and players who don't. And they exactly know each other, will never unite in the dressing room.
The solution is club lower the expectation and announces it publicly. Or, be ruthless and stop simping. Just replace the inferior players with top ones.

Yes…with Trump, Justin Bieber, Kim K, Beyoncé just to name a few. ‘Ronaldo is the most famous person in the world’ is an absolute.Come on, it's not an outrageous thing to suggest Ronaldo is the most famous person in the world. He's up there.
Tbf I’m not into the NBA like that apart from the odd 2k match on my PlayStation when I can be bothered and even I know that people pit Lebron against him, with the latter being cited as the GOAT more often (for reference I’m 25 so this might be a generational thing)What?! How did it literally never happen?
I'm only a couple of years older.
