Feck this team. Absolute sh*tstorm by our batsmen. Bilal Asif is one of the worst players I've been recently play for Pakistan, I have no idea why he is in the squad because his domestic record is average as well. He's supposed to be an allrounder but I had 0 hope of him doing anything with the bat.
Hasan Ali, Yasir Shah, Bilal Asif all let the team down with the bat. If all of them scored even 2 runs we would've won, that's a telling stat.

Disappointing loss, that was such a great opportunity to start the tour on a winning note and build towards the tests.
Screw the ODIs and T20s. Honestly couldn't give a toss about these meaningless matches. It's all about the test matches. I'd lose 6-0 in the limited overs series if it meant a test series win.
I understand where you're coming from but then it wouldn't be too bad to have some wins in the LOIs seeing as we are building to the world cup as well.

Fantastic win by NZ, they showed some stats about 2nd innings averages and Kane Williamson average over 60, way above anyone else. Him and Nicholls took that game away from Pakistan and good shout to the off spinner Sommerville on debut.
Should never have lost that series. Credit to NZ, great effort particularly in this game. I don’t think Williamson gets the credit he should.

The interesting question with these mystery spinners who claim to bowl 47 variations is whether they actually turn the ball with any of them. Mendis got found out when teams realised that no matter what action he put on the ball at his end it always came on to the bat gun barrel straight and Narine, whilst still a good player, has never been quite the force after he was made to bowl his variations within the laws of the game.
His is a great story. Quit cricket at 18, and went on to become an architect at 22. Started playing club cricket again. Was a fast bowler but had to resort to spinning after getting a serious injury.
